Why not adapt the STO star system generator program to produce missions and content for CO?

I've never encountered it in STO - I didn't play it too much as it wasn't really my cup of tea (even though i am a trekkie at heart...) - but my guess is if it is some kind of random mission generation system like CoX's newspaper/radio missions it will likely end up over here.

Anything that would add some more variable content to the game so every character didn't end up doing the exact same missions every time would be nice. The civilian missions already kinda do this but obviously not on command, so it would be nice to jsut request a random mission instead of having to drop in the Ren center and wait for someone to bump into you.

I just wish it wasn't the same looking after every 5th or so run... CoX was horrible for that... Office building, sewer, warehouse, cave... Repeat ad nauseum and fall asleep from bordem. Sure the layouts would be mixed up sometimes, but that still didn't make it any better.
I'd also like to see instanced open world missions.... Imagine a section of the city is sectioned off for your team (which is just instanced) so you can complete a mission similar to Destroids Rise Again. Alien invasions, destroids, Foxbat antics, office building fires, natural disasters, ... lots of things they could do with that, and with a bit of modification to one of the existing maps, it could be relatively easy to make missions like this.
Won't hold my breath, but I think it'd be totally awesome.

i Agree with this the story generator is a history of your character and a tale of there Heroics

then this generator must be a big thing then, because i have a huge story in mind.
