When I try to craft a 2nd consumable like "Rampage Biologic" it gives me the error "You may only have one of a unique item." Is this supposed to be happening? How should I know if I should bug something like this or if it is a 'feature'?
I hope it is a bug, because otherwise I'll have nothing much to do with crafting materials since I won't be able to easily convert them into Epiphanies.

I have the same problem, before the patch i crafted many summon items for assistance. Now i can only craft one. I hate the patch
The Firerain spell is also not working how it should.
The patch is useless to me, i`m really disappointed :/

Adaptive Sonic Bomb, Incendiary Grenades, Neutralization Grenades, and Fragmentation Grenades are all Unique too.
This sucks for Adaptive Sonic Bomb especially because 1 of those only has 1 charge :/ That seriously sucks. At least make them 3/3 or 5/5 charges at least :/

I have this happen for an item I already have several of. I believe it's Diabolic Pact.

I could see the logic in making this for upgrades, but for devices it kinda of defeats the purpose.

Well, once you consume the consumable you no longer have it and can presumably make a new one (I don't use consumables fast enough to have tested this). It is fairly dumb to treat consumable craftable items as unique, though.

Interesting, sounds like there must have been a bug where the flag wasn't being respected before and is now, which had this effect. Let me know any crafted devices you guys think the unique flag seems strange on and I'll take a look at them, In general I agree, unique doesn't make much sense for the consumables, they should just have sufficiently long cooldowns that it isn't abusive having a giant stack of them in inventory.

I got a message to that effect when trying to pick up a Necromancer's Skull (or something like that - it summons zombies) in the Burial Caves. That was the first I'd encountered this sort of limitation, but I didn't think anything of it at the time.
