Please disregard excessive amounts of negativity, as some of these posts were migrated from other threads, it is my belief the Developers did it with intent to help our argument.

Paying for extra content doesn't bode well with me, we are already a bit stiff on content as it is.

This idea of charging us for a new zone that would address current lack of content does not usher in good faith with your community, Cryptic. Inbetween Lemuria being unplayable for a week, broken PvP, ridiculous crafting farms, I'd say we deserve a break.

Maybe, MAYBE you would have been able to charge for this if it came a year from now when the game was finally able to stand on it's own two MMO feet, but as it is, charging us for this "expansion" is not a good move.

I'll be blunt for once, Vibora Bay should be a Free expansion at this point. Let the hanging of Mighty Pencil begin.

This isn't a smart move, Cryptic, you're hurting more players than you're helping. Hearing that we have to pay for a new zone when we already lack content is not good news. A State of the Game where everything is free sounds a hell of a lot better to the people who have left but are still watching than "This zone will require money."

It is my expressed personal opinion, and most will agree, that you'll be driving more people away by charging us for this new zone.

My feedback: Charging for levels 37-40 content? Not worth my money.

Charging for levels 41-50 ... Worth my money.

One is an expansion (new levels). One is content filler (37-40). One is worth paying for. One is not.

Others may differ on this. For Cryptic's sake you better hope A LOT of others differ on this.

There are a ton of GAME BREAKING BUGS that are still out there...even on test, and have been around for MONTHS.

MONTHS that you were all busy making 'extra' content to sell.

We don't have to pay for it. I certainly won't be.

How do you know these bug fixes arnt just being packed at a 20 or 30ty dollar price tag?

I entirely agree with this, maybe if they optimize Vibora to be released with 41-50 content, and the level cap raise to 50 would come before or the same day through a standard patching.

I can see paying for it if it was 41-50 content.

Vedis - You have a point but it doesn't hold much water. Expacs add new content, zones, etc while also adding levels. They are basically just fixing a gap area with a paid expansion.

Plus, seriously this game is the smallest MMO I have ever played. WoW, EQ, AoC, WAR, etc all had double or triple the zones this game had at launch. Wow had like 20+ zones and it came out 5 years ago. This game has 5.

Of the ones I've played:

Everquest (plane of sky, fear and hate for those with long memories were absolutely free), World of ******** (ZG and AQ and Naxx were all absolutely free), Dungeons and Dragons Online (now, granted the entire game is free these days and you do pay for things ala microtransactions ... when I played it, you paid for the game and updates were free and The Shroud was absolutely free), City of Heroes (wasn't that zone with all those witches and redcaps for free?)

Also superchum WoW redid one of the swamp zones, added a ton of new quests and completely overhauled it. I can't remember which zone it was though... They added the Goblin town Sprocketville and that big fish boss that was cool.
