Ok, I'm needing some advice on this build. I tried to go with a theme. He's supposed to be a necro ghost-whisper more or less.
Defense
- Circle of Primal Dominion (Regen/Def)
- Sigils of Ebon Weakness (Def)
- Regeneration (Regen)
- Telekinetic Eruption w/ Enhanced Form (Def)
- Lifedrain (Heal)
- Resurgence (Regen/Heal)
- Ebon Void (Def)
Offense
- Collective Will (Pet)
- Grasping Shadows (Hold)
- Ego Storm (AoE Pet)
- Shadow Embrace (Primary attack)
- Rebirth (Dmg boost after dying)
- Telekinetic Eruption (AoE Knockback)
Seems to be effective somewhat, although it does require some turtling. Definitely not something you run in with guns a blazing. I can solo 5 man hard mode in Battle Station with it pretty easily.
I'm mostly having my doubts with Rebirth. Possibly even Lifedrain. I don't know, it just feels like this build is missing something. Problem is I'm wanting it to stay close to my theme and I'm having a hard time figuring out what would be a good replacement for synergy. Any advice would help.

You could swap Regen for Seraphim, Resurgence for an HoT (BCR, Bionic Shielding, something from celestial. Seraphim would give a damage bonus to paranormal, and a bonus to healing. PRE would have to be at least a third stat. It already scales on CON.
For a less drastic change, Imbue scales on CON - you could put that in there for your big hit, especially a big opening AoE since you already SS REC.

Going PRE would give you WAY higher drain life returns. Also I would think Defiance (seeing it is getting buffed) along with PRE enhanced drain life returns would allow far better tanking. The additional energy return from Defiance would assist too. This is guess work mind you.
Seraphim would also boost healing but you would loose a ton of mitigation so layering other types would be needed (like keeping tk erupt form up at all times along with copd). You would get slightly better healing returns as well if using illumination on top of Seraphim.
A decent power now that adds significant health returns with PRE as well is Bionic Shielding. If you already have mitigation it works great along with it. Slightly better with a high INT though as you can use it more. I prefer it over resurgence as it can be used far more often but you need to be attacked for it to work. Another power that is incredible for emergencies is masterful dodge.
I have never tried Ascension with drain life but with Conduit it is amazing. Upwards of 1200 point healing tics sure is nice. With drain life (if it worked) you would be looking at around 700+ drain tics. With INT I cycle three 90 second powers as INT reduces both the recharge for the power and the cool down between like powers (ie. 90 to close to 60 and 30 seconds to 22 seconds) and seeing how you can keep them up as long as 18 seconds ranked you can use them a hell of a lot (hence why my seraphim build can be incredibly tough at times cycling ascension, masterful and electric sheath/adv).

I tried BCR, but it doesn't seem to mingle well with this build. The build I have requires some multi-tasking and micromanaging, which makes it fun, but Chi's short duration just complicates things more and becomes too much of a distraction.
Also, I was considering Iron Lariat for peeling. Shadow Embrace is effective to a degree, but it's also random. Sometimes I'll set everything up just to have a mob run out of range, which is annoying to say the least. One of the reasons why I wish Cryptic would make circles activate w/ a toggle and not a maintain.
Btw this build is strictly pve. I have a solid build for pvp. Unfortunately I want to roleplay more, and let's face it most pvp builds aren't roleplay friendly.

Idk, I might want to add Chi to the list seeing how it scales with Pre too. I was trying to stick more with magical/TP powers for my theme, but I might have to make an exception w/ it.
