# 1 Need help making equilibrium build

Wanting to make a build based on the movie equilibrium. The fighting style is called gun kata and its a mix of mainly munitions with blade secondary. its pretty awesome to watch and was wondering how to make this build i could use any help. thanks

Definitely an awesome movie =D

I think what you are looking for is a Munitions/Single or Double blade build.

Unfortunately I don;t have the builder on my in-laws pc but from munitions to keep it in concept you would want :
From Munitions: Two-Gun Mojo, Bullet Ballet, Killer Instinct and Lead Tempest for the energy builder you could try out Gunslinger and see if the animation suits you(is a ranged one) or you could go for the appropriate blade EB..choice is yours :)
From blades I would have to let someone else field this part as I am not to familiar with the good/bad/ugly of the set..

Defensive Power: Lightning Reflexes great later on in game..rough ride for the 1rst half. Could go Regen if you are flexible on concept.

My 2 cents...+ to much Vodka :)

Well... I'd suggest taking the two-guns powers from Munitions (Gunslinger, Two Gun Mojo, Breakaway Shot, Lead Tempest), Killer Instinct, and Bullet Ballet, then filling out your other selections with stuff from the Single or Dual Blades tree. You can probably skip the basic melee attack and just pick up the special Blades attacks, but that's up to you. You'll most likely want DEX as a superstat, but the other can be whatever you prefer, and if you take DEX, you might want Lightning Reflexes as your defensive passive, and Focus of the Unleashed Tempest as your offensive passive. Since you'll be in melee to use some of your powers, you'll probably want to pick up Bountiful Chi Resurgence - just make sure to take the Resurgent Reiki advantage. Dragon Kick from Unarmed is another good one to have.

The main disadvantage I see to the build is that you'll likely be getting most of your really BIG single-hit damage from the Blades powers you take, because you won't have the big guns from Munitions... and currently, melee isn't that great. This is why you'd want DEX and likely EGO as superstats, because getting a lot of big crits, even off of small-damage attacks, can often make up the difference.

But these are just my suggestions - I'm sure there are people who have others that might work better.

I have to say I think Aesirgard has it all covered.

My only silly suggestion would be make sure your energy builder is a gunslinger and not some melee attack. Might sound like common sense to some, but just putting it out there.

ok so if i just wanted to go straight gun kata fighting and not use the blades part what other powers should i go with as secondary? or should i got straight munitions

Well, the ones I mentioned (Gunslinger, Two Gun Mojo, Breakaway Shot, Bullet Ballet, Lead Tempest, Killer Instinct) are about the only real gunkata powers in the game, currently. If you're going more pure Munitions, you could pick up Lock and Load and Holdout shot... but you'd run into the fact that everything else in the tree is more stuff like shotguns and military hardware - more Punisher type stuff than gunkata. I could still see getting Dragon Kick if you're going to otherwise skip melee, because it's an AoE stun. Fire off a full charge Dragon Kick, then hit Breakaway Shot, stuff like that.

Can't really suggest much in terms of other trees to add to a gunkata Munitions build, unfortunately. Probably a couple kick attacks from Unarmed MA, and you'll still want to get Lightning Reflexes and Bountiful Chi Resurgence. Focus of the Unleashed Tempest from Dual Blades is still good for gunkata, because it procs from crits, even ones that aren't melee hits.
