I haven't field tested this enough to know and was hoping someone who has can help me out before I choose this power. It looked like Eye of the Storm did considerable damage to attackers all at once but Rank3 does a consistantly higher pulse of damage over the storm. Which one is better? Which one did you choose?

Eye of the Storm: because bad guys rarely stop attacking.

I asked the same question 1-2 months ago.

I was told that the advantage worked out much better by a couple of people. Likewise other threads had a similar response.

However I don't know for sure. While the Advantage does proc nice damage to the target, my experience with some mobs is it just doesn't happen with high enough frequency to really be worth it. Especially if they got multi-chilled or are otherwise focused on something else besides attacking.

Then again, I haven't played my Ice toon in maybe a month so I could be wrong.

Valid point. If your build is designed around group holds Eye of the Storm has less to work with.

OK thanks very much for the replies. Since I don't do a whole lot of holding I'm thinking the advantage will be worth it and I'll go ahead and roll with that.
