As I've been playing my Might character over this event, there are a few things that bother me. I know mêlée has its faults, and I went into Might knowing that, so these aren't game-ruining for me, but I want to get these off of my chest anyway.
1. PvP
It's pretty fun now that I've realized I will never stand a chance. I queued for B.A.S.H. for the first time yesterday, not knowing anything about it. As soon as I get in I get swarmed by the other players and killed multiple times in a row. I try to fight back, but even as they attack me, they heal faster than I can hurt. I eventually decided I had had enough, and started hopping around the edges of the arena. This kept me alive, but in the meantime, I realized that without me as a punching bag, nobody could make a kill. To get the game to end, I returned to the fight and the match quickly ended.
2. Super Jump
I have a lot of problems in this game with the leash distances on enemies, the close proximity of enemy groups, and how these problems are exaggerated for mêlée characters, but that's only what causes my worst problem.
When I get in over my head, I usually try to escape. However, it seems this is impossible with my setup. Without a travel power on there's no way I'd ever outrun my foes, especially without aggroing more on the way out. With my travel power, however, I'm just as dead. For some reason, when I'm in combat, I seem to take RIDICULOUS amounts of falling damage. I don't know what it is, but it seems that whenever I go to jump away (and there's no AA guns around btw) I'll take upwards of 3000 damage for hitting the ground. This guarantees my death, if not by queued up attacks from the enemies I was fleeing, then by the enemies I inevitably land next to.
3. Havoc Stomp
I like the idea of this ability. I remember it being really neat in beta. Is it just me or is it really broken right now? The animation seems to rarely go off, and it actually damaging anything seems even rarer.

I've done a few BASH recently and one trend I've noticed is that if you are not "teleporting", you are going to be target a lot by people in air or by other teleporters. They will see you as "prey" and everyone will gang-bang you to get that "kill count". They are trying to get kill count, not trying to kill you because sometimes when you try too hard killing somebody, you become a target for other people. So you basically try to sneak in a few attacks right before the person dies.
I am not too sure how kill count is rewarded but it seems like if you throw in a few attacks on the target, you'll get rewarded. Maybe somebody can explain to you.
My rule is if you try too hard to chase somebody to kill him off, you are wasting too much time in BASH.
