Dear Cryptic,

Unlike most of your customers, I am one of the few, faithful residing half way across the globe in the Far East,

In a land where lightning fast internet connections are nation-wide, but crappy dpmestic MMOGs with manneristic designs and shi*ty management annoy people to kingdom come, the light had shown us the way when we first met you guys with the title <City of Heroes>.

Time has passed much since then, but after quitting CoH and CoV after a few years of subscription, due to real life reasons, when I've finally found enough time to relive my glory days with CoH/CoV I decided to give a Champions Online a try instead.

It was a pleasant experience to meet with Champions Online, and feel "new but familiar in a peculiar way" , and after recognizing many of the things I've always dreamed of in CoH/CoV coming alive in Champs, I was hooked again. Despite the frickin' currency exchange rates, and the mayhem of subscribing an overseas MMOG with a domestic credit ard, I am now a part of the small, hidden cult of "People who actually enjoy Superhero genre games in Asia."

... except there's one problem.

I hardly have any time to actually play this fine game since it seems like every day when I attempt to log on, after returning home from a hard day's work, the frickin' servers are down and maintenance goes on forever.

In a land of GMT+9:00, when I come home from work, the servers are down between 8:00PM and 10:00PM... at which time I hardly get a half a minute of play time until I have to go to sleep, and then part myself from the bed at 5:00 AM in the morning to go to work.

Now, I dare not ask thee to actually make a concession for such a small number of people... but please, can't you at least try and reduce the number of these maintenances and patches throughout the weak? At least, try cram it up to a single days work and maybe choose one day of the week?

Every day I come home, I try to log on, and it's always down. My money is going down the gutter, and it seems this string of maintenance hardly ever ends.


Please, please, please... try and at least think of your most faithful, little bunch of customers from time to time.. we were the ones who actually transferred to CoH/CoV US servers with our own money, when the CoH/CoV Asian servers went belly up....

Ouch! Hopefully your pleas will not fall upon deaf ears.

You have my sympathies.

Just for reference, that would mean servers aren't up around noonish for Europe. Which
a) wouldn't be good on weekends at all
b) I can't actually confirm
