I was wondering if you might look into a 'set-down' command or action to go with the 'pick-up object' action?
- you can set stuff up strategecally or just play 'house' and do some interior designing... this might be abused for pathing issues of mobs however. Or it might be abused for objects that respawn regularly.
- there may be new mission objectives where you can form a ramp or stairs out of object so you can escort an objective person to a different level.
- there are the comic classic scenes where the hero has to save the bus or airplane full of people... or carry the car full of baddies to the police station! The 'set-down' command would open these kinds of missions up.
- there are times when heroes pick up stuff and we don't want to throw it in order to let go of it. Think of rescuing large artwork/statues from a burning museum in a back & forth relay to saftey mission?
- you can carry objects aloft and (if you can aim) drop them like a bomb to hit mobs far below (think of the fun!).
- If Super Group bases comes into play, it would be an additional tool for designing, in a manual kinda way.
Also, how about a 'pick-up' mob ability??? Where is the 'huge mghtyguy grabs a baddie and chucks him,or bashes other baddies" - it might be perverse however to take a villain hundreds of feet into the air and then drop or throw him.
