Hi guys, I've got a build I'm making that's a little bit all over the place just now, but I got him through Fight Club (scraped through at 16) so he's passed that test at least :)
So far he has DB end builder, the spammable cleave attack, Eye of the Storm (loving it!) Wall of Ice and electric shield. (Oh, and the smoke bomb escape ability that I prefer to thunderbolt lunge).
I'm thinking due to the behind the veil advantage for EotS (damage reflect), and the advantage (which I've not yet been able to test) for elec shield that he is going to be a "Let the bad guys wail on me and kill themselves" style meleer. Wall of Ice being used to trap ranged opponents and force them to attack from melee range (which triggers the damage reflect on EotS even if it's not a melee attack they use).
I'm planning on taking Snow Storm and it's advantage to cause damage to attackers too and maybe the Storm Sigils to keep damage going while I block.
The problem I'm having is a general lack of survivability. EotS is nice, and I get a fair few 0s popping over my head, but I'm still struggling a bit.
I was thinking LR might be a good defensive passive, as it should help reduce the big charges hits while EotS reduces the small pecks that LR generally leaves you vunerable to, but at this low level in the Power House it doesn't feel like it's working (STR/DEX superstated).
Any ideas on how I might be able to build on this guy, keep up the killing and maybe improve his survivability?
EDIT: Based on a bit more thinking with the first reply here I've messed about a bit with the stats
EDIT 2: Don't like Snowstorm. Dropped it.

Honestly, if you're already taking Wall of ice and Snow Storm then you'll defeat henchmen quite quickly.
SnowStorm at R3 or R2+Advantage will defeat even-level henchmen 1-2-3 so long as they stay in the storm, which is where Wall of ICe comes in. I can understand if that doesn't fit your concept and don't want to win that way, but if you're going to bother using SnowStorm at all then anything else is just overkill.
Now against big guys like Super Villains you'll need more than just those 2 powers. But dipping into those 3 power sets you should have no problem finding a good combination to take out the biggies.
If you're going defensive passive then LR is a way to go, though it's not as great a lower levels. As some posters say, LR is a power you retcon into @ later levels and not one you start out with. SS Dex is the way to go on that, but why STR? Is it for the dual blades?

Yeah, the idea is that the guy has armour that grants him storm-based powers, but he is still basically a melee fighter with dual blades.
I don't know how much difference SSing for STR will make to his melee abilities, but other than ego I'm not sure what else he could take. Dual Blades does offer some nice crit-based advantages...
I think I can hold off on taking LR for a few more levels then. I do have a full ret-con stored on this guy, so could take something else and change later.
So far the main problem I'd had in Fight club was groups of 3-4 one bar henchmen and 2-3 two bar villians. I couldn't quite get enough damage in before they killed me unless I was very lucky/careful. Depending on how much damage Snowstorm does that may resolve that issue.

Ok, so kinda disappointed with Snowstorm. THe damage refelct only works whilst the charge is being maintained :( I'm as well off sticking with EotS for the damage shield AND damage reflect (even if it is only melee range, I have other ways to deal with ranged opponents).
Sooo... taken sigils instead, as they have a shorter casting time and longer duration. Not gonna bother with Snowstorm at all.
brought in Ice Barrier as some additional defense. Will need to test that out too and see how well it works.
