OK to start off I'm new like really new (5 days) and I'd like some feedback on my build i think i have it worked out, I'm going for a mostly pure dps build with a chance to live :D but mostly put out mass amounts of dps to kill mobs fast (again helps with the living ) this is what i came up with with abit of help i'm only lvl 16 right now so i only have really done that far but i looked at the powers up to 40. thanks for any and all feedback

In comment to your wanting to be high dps, this is not the way to do it. Granted I don't have a shadow character, but you have too many attacks and not enough buffs, and defense. This char will drop like a rock the second its out of that circle. You need some sort of defense be it passive or active. Because you have such little def you'll be knocked out of that circle quite easily.
Also there is no need for cascade and gigabolt, Nor do you need ego storm and shadow embrace. Your going to be out of energy before you get 1 of these 4 powers off if your not dead before then.
Dps in this game isn't just about crits and high dmg attacks. Its about how fast can you shoot them off continuously. In my opinion you should go dexterity and INT superstated. This way your costs of your powers its much less especially for giga or cascade. One full shot of those and your going to be out of energy completely without a good amount of INT.
Keep in mind you can always stack up items with EGO to make up for it not being a superstat. Also keep in mind that power costs increase as you level but so do your superstats. So if your int can keep up with the costs then you should be doing good energy wise.
I see you have shadow form but you don't have any stats to help improve it. You may want to consider these since your the form increases both def and dmg
Darkness
1. Shadow Form
* Con - Increases defense gained.
* End - Increases damage buff.
2. Spirit Reverberation
* End - Increases Energy gain.
Don't see a need for Shadow embrace and Ebon rift, just one or the other. You don't need more than one maintain AOE ability.
Get rid of summon nightmare, its only going to cause you a world of hurt. Its an uncontrollable pet thats doing to do nothng but bring everybody and their brother to your table.
If you truely want some dps, Circle of ebon wrath+ shadow form + shadow shroud + Imbue + cascade or Giga= 100% Crit all the time and a massive hurt that will cause their ancestors to feel the pain. This is the OMFG, jaws drop power combo! Plus Imbue uses Constitution for critical severity rather than ego so if you have a bit of constitution which you most likely will cause many of the equipment for defense come with constitution regardless, kind of a drag but in this case is to your advantage. And perhaps because of this you may choose to use constitution over ego and a third stat focus. plus imbue is only a 30s recharge which in itself is not that bad at all.
The next thing your going to need down the line is some type of heal for when you get knocked out of that circle, and trust me, you will.
LOL thinking about this and planning this out makes me want to try this build.
I'd say this is a fairly good plan, gives you the option of switching out circle of wrath/domination and/or regen/shadow form. You could have 4 builds of alternative mixes of these power sets that you can switch between for maximum effectiveness during the game.
So here is what my bright idea is. I really hope this is as good as lt looks on paper!

To be perfectly fair, you only need about 60-70 points in endurance to get roughly 30% out of your shadow form. Which is only 10-14% less than what most people that spec SS End and focus in it big time. So it is entirely within the realm of reason to have a Dex/Ego build with End as a Tertiarry and still come out on top DPS wise.
I'm not saying it's easy. I'm not saying you won't be sacrificing One, at most two equipment slots and in turn giving up a little ooomf to get it done. But this is exactly how my frost DPS spec'd toon is set up and it works quite well.
The only reason I don't suggest going with an offensive passive isn't because of the numbers, it's because you've been with the game for 5 days. Unless you're used to playing squishy types from other MMO's, I'd suggest going with a defensive passive for now, until you get the hang of it. Then try your hand at offensive's and see how they handle for you.
Offensive passives aren't for everyone. In fact there's only a small population that roll with them. But if you can get good with it... whew... watch the funk out!

wow Tenchikun you were right i went out and tried to do the mission imported from Canada and got my butt handed to me in I'd say less then 30 sec so i have abandoned that thought and went a diff way now i can at lvl 17 solo lvl 23 villains and up now with my new build. tell me what you think of it now that i think i got the idea. also i can't find a good group hold that would keep the mobs in the range of my silgil of the storm also i was thinking of force eruption with gravitational polarity in it for a dmg boost, though i have no idea what do get after 32 :(

I was actually going to mention that force erupt with the adv would be a good idea for the extra dmg boost. Go for it I say. Or at least give it a try, its always a nice power to get guys off your back now and then as well.
Looking good but I'd wait out on Circle of Dom, I know for a fact its nice to have early on but trust me when I say you'll be rolling without it more than with it. If your AOE can take out henchman within seconds then theres no need for it. Its great for hairy situations but I find myself not using it unless absolutely nesscessary.
Instead of iron cyclone I'd go shadow embrace from the shadow build. Its got much more dmg, no cooldown and i can almost guarantee you'll knocked out henchies with a few seconds of it maintained. You probably wouldn't need sigils or primal storme either. try to add in a dmg buff in there and try to get gigabolt earlier.
You might not realize but you can't charge giga or force cascade fully without an energy for so something to think about.
Not too sure about this build, just doesn't seem as solid as your first one.

drop Copd unless you have to have for survivability which is fine that shadowform rank 3 is good
gigabolt is a waste without having something to get a charge. Ego Storm with adv is nice force eruption i think it's called that with it's adv gives you 20 percent more damage is nice. You missing some of the better shadow powers.. i wouldn't be worrying about dex as rec int and end are better for shadow.
sustained damage in this game is much better than burst.

Also i'm not too fond of roots cause the enemy can still attack you ranged which in pve almost all of them have ranged attacks so it's sorta pointless to root, rather have holds, fear should do nicely though. I don't believe they attack back when feared.

going back to the shadow idea, this might work better for you, just remember to stack up some dext items for the increased crit. Imbue+wrath+erupt buff+ cascade should do rather nicely. Replace cascade with Giga if you like.
I don't really know, this might be better, you'd have to test it out. I would maybe move some powers around but not sure what at this point. Try testing it out in the powerhouse> battle station. Don't leave until you have something worth while to use against hard targets, 2 group size at least. Recovery improves regen as well and Int will let you spam away. Just got to find a way to get a form for giga/cascade

Tenchi, I'm sure that I don't understand your build philosophy.
You've spent 6 power choices on non-energy building, mutually-exclusive attack powers. You can only click one at a time, you know!
Of these, I'd get rid of Shadow Blast (Embrace is better) and Ebon Rift (Embrace is better). I'd consider replacing one of these with Sonic Device and, possibly, Toxic Nanites, seeing as on-next-hit effects are stackable and powerful. I see the reason for most of the rest of the offensive powers, but these three are really redundant - you only need one of them, and Embrace is the best of the three (and is available at the same tier as the Blast if you're retconning). At that point, however, you've basically got a modified version of the Force build that I'm using and Tenchi has been modifying, that is presented in another thread, with the exception that you're trading some of the healing powers in that build for some offensive powers in this build. Either way, give it a shot and have some fun =)
