The latest spawn times have been listed on a thread dated last Wed, which I thought might confuse people. SO here's a new thread for the current / upcoming spawn times. If you're hunting Takofanes / Zombie Foxbat / Zombat, this is the place to be! :)

The first set of times listed were the latest spawns. The second set is my estimates on upcoming spawns, as of 10pm server time. (I'm going to bed now, so will not be updating these lists until some time tomorrow. Hopefully someone will post new times below.)

All the times I post will be in server time, and I ask that anyone who posts on this thread use server times as well. If you're not sure what the server time is, hover over the clock under the minimap in-game. It lists the server time there, as well as the map time & your local time.

The times marked with an * are my best guess, as I missed writing down the actual spawn times.

Also, if my times seem off, I post spawn times, not death times. Death times are usually approx 4 minutes later.

Basic Tako FAQ:

Tako spawns in each zone immediately after it is created. After that, he spawns in the same zone approx 6 hours later.

He spawns in one of three places in Millennium City: just outside Champions HQ (abbrev. HQ), a little west of City Hall (abbrev. CH), and north of Chinatown (abbrev. CT or WS for "westside")

To find Takofanes once he's spawned, either follow the posts on the Zone or Takofanes_Spawn channel, or look for a big purple cloud with a blue beam of light shooting from it to the ground - he will be at the base of that beam.

There are 2 basic parts to the Takofanes fight:
The first part is the open mission. Your score on the open mission is most affected by the total damage you do to the zombies. First place gives you a shot at getting either the special event Blueprints, or the special event cloak (which gives you a floating ability). The open mission reward drops at the site of Takofane's throne.

The second part is the Deathlord fight. If you hit the Deathlord one time, you have the possibility of getting the Zombie Foxbat (aka Zombat) figure. It's a very rare drop, and the drop rate is a certain percent chance (possibly 1%, but this hasn't been verified) per person. No one else's actions affect your chances in any way, and it is not related to your score in the open mission. There is some circumstantial evidence that being in a team helps, but it is not a guarantee. The Zombat drops at whatever spot the Deathlord died at. Do not forget to check there, or you could miss it!!

The entire Takofanes fight usually takes under 5 minutes, so if you need any help, such as a team invite, you are going to get better results if you ask for it before he spawns.
