Very simple suggestion. Please remove the limit on what pieces are usable with certain settings. Like how chest wear cannot use capes. And how certain gloves and boots are not usable with jackets and pants. Some things will collide, sure, but limiting us this way is doing more harm than good.

Agreed wholeheartedly.

I lke how the moment my female toon puts on a hat, her hair can't be any longer than her shoulders unless it's in a ponytail.
baw.
Yea, certain things would clash miserably, but a lot of my character designs end up way too similar because I want a specific piece that only works with one body/face/etc type.

I agree.
My biggest complaint is - Why can i not use a cape and a chest piece?
Other complaints that you guys have mentioned are valid also.
I have faith that this will get better. I remember at one point in COX that they announced when they had officially doubled the amount of customization in the character builder. I am sure they will keep adding more and more options.
I do not want to keep buying them from the C-store. I hope only some "special" features are in the C-store and most of the changes just get put in through a patch.
More choices, more options, and less restrictions are always welcome.

I agree, I can also vouch that a good portion, if not everyone in my supergroup also agrees. It's one of our biggest complaints and I can't really figure out why I can't wear a spartan breastplate and have a cape. It seems pretty logical to be able to, at least for me.

I like to see layers( like in the wrestling game on ps2) and allow us to more emblem around.
+ like you said...have more on the same "slot". Some thing might not work, but other could give us some neat look.

Speaking of which, I noticed while trying to make a reptilian character that there is a serpent skin for the top half of the body but no bottom half to match it. I have to improvise using a kevlar layer over a the basic skin. Which isn't exact. Perhaps a dev forgot to add it?

Totally agree. Why are there any limitations at all?
I used to think it was to avoid clipping, but with more experience I see that, the head especially, top, side, head gear, eye accessory, etc, all overlap and clip heavily...so that cannot be the reason for restricting our creativity.
Removes the restrictions, there is no benefit to them what-so-ever.

I agree with the OP. If it's just a matter of clipping, let the user decide whether or not it looks bad. It's not like there's absolutely no clipping with the currently avaliable options either.
Also that.
I mean, for crying out loud, I've paid for the game AND I'm paying monthly fees. Cryptic really can't expect me to pay even more for additional costume pieces. Especially in a superhero game with the main approach of having a lot of customization possibilites rather than balanced gameplay or deep endgame content, you'd expect this kind of stuff to be included in a free update.

Well i dont mind buying thing in C-store. Why? well if i dont want it, i dont buy it.
And its not like it cost that much.
BUT...i really hope they not going to make all new costumes only on C-store. I want normal IN GAME costumes( like kill X monster or do X quest)
