For a while, many people, including me, have been asking for the ability to use natural claws for attacking.
Before launch, I recall Cryptic saying something about wanting to implement a “lycanthrope” power-set very soon after launch—I’ll link the post as soon as I can find it; but in the mean time, I have to wonder: could the power-set of the Bloodmoon werewolves be the start of it? Is the Bite event sort of like a beta for a lycanthrope set? Well, it’s clear that the Bloodmoon Werewolf power-set borrows a few powers from the supernatural set (Beastial fury, Bite) but the “Frenzy” animation is an animation that players have never had access to—though certain NPCs have. Also, I’ve never seen that howl animation anywhere in game before.
A lot of people are asking to be able to use the “Fighting Claws” power set with natural claws. I personally prefer the idea of a fully dedicated “Beast/Lycanthrope” set like it has been suggested. And I hope that this is some hint that the devs are working on it—but obviously, this is all just conjecture.
And that’s my two cents.

As a useless factoid interruption, I'd just like to point out that Morrowind's expansion 'BloodMoon' (yes it has the same name) has you playing as a Werewolf ( funnily enough they look quite similar too ).

Lycanthropy strikes me as a bit niche set, too specific in some respects. A general bestial/feral/manimal set would be better I think, or more useful overall.
Some natural claws, some sonic, some poison, that claw/lunge ability some enemies have...
Go X-thropy
