On the loading screen, when you're entering a crypt, there is usually some text about one of the "fallen 13" like Goblin, Amazing Grace or Vanguard.

The loading screen goes by too fast for me to read this stuff. Can you read it anywhere else?

Really?

All the loading screens I've seen are about Lemuria as of late. ;)

Check champions-online-wiki.com All of the heroes should have their pages up with that text.

If CO isn't the active window during a loading screen, it won't automatically jump into the next map. You'll instead sit at the loading screen with a "click to continue" message at the bottom. Easy way to get time to keep reading if the load is going too fast.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

I found most of the text on the wiki here:

The Vanguard text seems a little short though. I'll try window trick next time I log in.

Thanks!

It seems Vanguard was once buddies with the Drifter, AKA the Random Nemesis Mission Cowboy.

Did You Know: The Drifter once saved the White House from being dropped from several thousand feet in the air. The supervillainess Gravitar had suspended it and demanded a ransom that was never given, and so the building was dropped. Thanks to random cowboy man conjuring a pair of giant magic hands to catch it as it fell, the White House was saved.
