I havent been attacked by my nemesis or minions in a long time. it seems they have all died and i cant create another. Ive already done the jailbreak mission so he seems to be gone. am i screwed as far as the nemesis system goes, are there problems? is there any place to force them out?

i havent gotten to the point where i lock my nemesis up/get a new one, but i can honestly say, i went a whole 2 days without seeing him once... so it might be that.
Other than that, have you gone back to the station? maybe you need to create a 2nd one there.
Sorry if this doesnt help, as i said im only on my 1st nemesis.

Ok, I know this may sound stupid, so I apologize. I promise I'm not insulting your intelligence here, but... have you checked your bags to make sure you're not sitting on a Nemesis Clue? I've picked them up before without noticing, and then I wondered what was going on when I didn't hear anything from my nemesis for ages. Then I found her clue in my bag and wondered how it got there.

Mine attacks me even if I have a nem clue.

You have to be on the ground or in the water for them to attack, if that helps.

Maybe that was my problem then, I'd just gotten my second travel power (jet boots) and I left it on constantly for the longest time. I eventually turned it off because I didn't like trying to maneuver it and use Chainsaw Gauntlet at the same time.

I've had this problem before, and it was also right after the jailbreak mission. My wife had her nemesis minions attack within about 5 minutes, and she got a clue. Me on the other hand? It took at least 2 and a half hours of straight grinding random mobs before they finally came out. I'm not sure if it's broken, or just a widely variable RNG issue.

It may be a case of your chances of getting a nemesis clue in the time after a major nemesis mission dropping dramatically (it would stand to reason, since they want our Nemesis content to be spaced out a bit). I know I've done the minor missions ("stop Infernia's minions from blowing up this building or robbing that shipment", whatever) and gotten clues very shortly thereafter. But I can't say I've ever gotten a clue immediately after doing an instanced Nemesis mission. Or it could be a matter of that cooldown timer that keeps Nemesis clues from dropping too often.

Maybe youre nemesis just isnt "into you" any more.

You have kind of let yourself go. isnt it time you called Jenny Craig?

Alright. I'll admit it. I sprayed Pepsi.

Well, like I said, my wife got hers shortly after (though we did her jailbreak first, then mine, then about 5 minutes later she got another clue - so around 30 minutes after she did her jailbreak). There may be a cooldown, and maybe hers was actually broken, I don't know.

The cooldown does make sense, and I'm all for it because it does stretch out the content a little. I think the cooldown on clues is something like 6 hours, right? It's obviously not the same between mission arcs and clues, since I got mine within that window. I'll have to pay attention more next time to see if that was it.
