One thing I found funny is that people have this hangup about teleporters and I have to say my might character has it but I use it in such a funny if not sucidal way. I almost always get caught by Ice cage or some ice power that holds me. I like to use teleport but stay right were I am healing just enough to stay in the fight. By that time usually my opponent I'm sure is cursing up a storm thinking I've left the area to lick my wounds but what kind of Champion would I be if I did that...so I usually stay put and come out with a bunch of foot stomps when I teleport back in on the same spot I left.

I used this tactic the other day and to my opponents surprise he didn't see it coming or my followup fully charged haymaker hitting them for over 1400 points. Now I'm not saying there aren't times that I do retreat but if I see that my enemy is hurt just as badly as I am I would like to think that I took the more heroic option and stayed the coarse to take down my foe with an unexpected tactic.

Aye you're not the only one that does that Tinman, there's lots that don't of course and tp the minute they take any damage but in t4 at least if it ends up in a 1 v 1 or even 1 v 2 scenario there's quite a few players that will battle it out until the end. Personally i draw the line at 2 and only stick around to see if i can kill one of em before i'm almost dead, then i WILL tp away lol. Non stop knockbacks from might users i'll tp out of the second i can though if i know they are good at juggling, against those players you never really get much of a chance to hit them.

Ok so I took a look at B.A.S.H and I have to say it's much different than the stronghold PvP arena. Now we all like variety but I found it less fun since it's just an open playground for heros with flying. I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with flying but it's the actual instance to me which causes the headache. I was running around seeing how this board would hold up if there was a travel power restrictions just for this arena and it might work out better.

Maybe a re-imagining of this arena might be in order. I would like to see a sacaled version of the LA Concrete river system. You can have houses running parallel and then an open street in front of the houses with destructible cars (to be picked up and thrown) on each side of the river. Drop in 3 overpasses/bridges connecting each side of the river from both ends and the middle. This should provide cover fire incase a sniper is on the loose (I would still keep 1 tall building under construction that players can access).

With this arena design you can then put in spawnable weapon and device crates that would give temporary abilities (Timed hover boots, Rage/Growth Serums, stationary healing drones, "Pet food" that would grant a 5 second stealth against pets, key code to flood river). Give the arena an event where a player can access a control panel from an open station house on one of the bridges that would send down a cascade of raging water... if you don't get out of the river system you take damage for being in the path of the water and a nice knockback effect as you get swept away. :)

Hopefully if a developer is monitoring these threads for feedback I can see them being able to attempt this idea and it would be so cool if they can also get the raging event to happen. What I'm saying is that B.A.S.H at that level really had nothing to offer me at level 32 and I would not queue this arena up again unless changes are made to the map more than changes to powers.
