Field Drones have five problems right now:
Best of all, you already have code that does this, because that's how nearly all summons work (e.g. rituals).
- The Maintain effect is very difficult to time because the drones are only healing about half the time and not at a predictable rate.
- Maintaining drains energy whether or not the drones actually can make use of it healing (again, this is hard to time).
- Drones are destroyed easily and, once destroyed, you have to dismiss and resummon them to get them back in full numbers. Adding additional awkwardness to this, sometimes they don't respond to a dismissal command for awhile.
- They really don't heal for enough when not maintained.
- They get lost easily.

I agree they have serious issues but I like the ability to increase healing with the maintain...however this maintain should completely negate the cooldown or sporadic healing of the non interactive heal.
In other words whenever I take away all my actions and decide to focus heal the heal should work and be as effetive as other focussed heals (maybe even a bit better die to problem #2 which is that Drones and pets in general are very easily killed PVP and PVE (when healing is even necessary).
So basically the automated heal can have a cooldown and be fairly weak (its energy free healing)
The maintain should be as good if not better then other focused heals.
the other problems dismissing and pathing I agree with completely... I don't get why when i dismiss it has to wait the despawn time before they go away and before I can resummon it wasn't like this before if this was some sort of balancing I really don't see how making easily killed pets unable to be re-summoned can be balanced for the user of this power.
