So I was playing Champions a few days ago and had an idea come to mind. I noticed when you get to the edge of a 'world' it turns black and white. This got me thinking of comic books of old. Now don't get me wrong I love the Champions presentation but I was thinking to myself how awesome some retro missions would be. Indoor instances, unique missions. What I mean is this - Why not have instances, indoor missions which are completely black and white? Obviously the code is already there to do it and that is the perfect 'silver age' look anyway, so why not use that filter which you already have built in and use it for an entire mission? Also, with how enemies talk with the bubbles most the time, I thought for these retro missions it would be very very cool to add little 'bam', 'pow' and 'wam' boxes to enemies when they are defeated, to go with the retro comic feel more closely. So when enemies are defeated a little colored star burst shape or some such pops up and just says "Wam!" or "Pow!". It would stick out beautifully on the black and white presentation in these retro missions. It would require a good deal of work I understand but just thought I would share this idea, I would really love to see these Retro Missions added to Champions.

IMO it would get really confusing because when the screen turns that color, I already have it down in my brain, I guess you can say, that I'm hitting the edge of the level. So idk, for me it would be mad confusing lol.
