Before I list what I believe to be some of the most obvious (and ridiculous) issues, I'd like to make everyone know that:
- I'm aware that this is a relatively new mmo and as such it is bound to have issues for the first while after release.
- I recognize that Cryptic are trying their hardest to fix each issue in the game (albeit making some questionable decisions along the way).
- I love the game, a lot. This is why I'm trying to bring these things to light.
Now, the issues.
- Hold/root stacking in pvp. This is one of the many reasons why several players (including myself) only participate in pvp for both of its respective quests. After a single root/hold, implementing a 100% root hold resistance for a few seconds would be appreciated. Why should I step into an arena if it's just a race to the hold button?
- The landing damage taken by super jump (rocket jump) users. What is my incentive to take this power if I STILL risk fall damage while using this travel ability?
- The extreme overpowered-ness of teleport (yes I know Cryptic is aware of this, but it must be brought to light yet again). Though realistically that's how a teleport power would work, for game purposes it's simply broken and unbalanced. Don't you think I'd like invulnerability to actually be what the word is defined as? You bet, yet it isn't for obvious reasons. So why was teleport overlooked?
(Main teleport issues include: little to no cooldown, being able to pick up items while shifted into another plane of existence (lulwut?), and healing while virtually untouchable. Can I please have complete and total invulnerability in this case?)
- Low travel cooldown for fliers hit out of the air. Why should I even bother throwing that crate if he can 'up up and away' within 3 seconds or less? You'll need a teammate to help you with said flier (don't say 'that's the point' because we all know how many teams split up and try to go solo).
- Super Speeds impact power being the most worthless piece of garbage I've ever invested in (I haven't noticed any damage difference with it on, correct me if I'm wrong).
- Might characters unable to charge abilities while moving, a VERY big issue.
These are the problems I am consistently noticing whenever I log in to play my character (and believe me, I look forward to it every time, right up until I see these issues repeated).
In the end I respect Cryptic for their hard work and I enjoy their game quite a bit, but so many obviously bad decisions are making me second guess the main (and usually most fun) aspect of the game, PVP.

OK....let me clarify some things about teleport.
ONE: ONCE teleported...we cannot Touch anything nor can we use ANY power. The only exception to this is regeneration and healing powers clicked BEFORE teleport. While in wisp form we can only move...that is it.
TWO: 7 second cooldown. SEVEN seconds is alot in a game where you can attack almost as fast as you can click a button. In seven seconds I usually die if I stay IN combat. Best use? To get away from combat to a SAFE point. That last point is the stickler....I have FIVE seconds to locate that before I come out of teleport....in a public quest, good luck on that. ON top of that, If I wait till the seven seconds are up, the target I was fighting is back to full health...end result, no gain, just time lost.
THREE: Teleport cannot be used while held, so no quick escape from that.
Last thing....PVP is not the main thing this game was designed for. OTHERWISE there would be no PVE. Combat Arms and Quake Live are PVP online games designed speciically for that reason. PVP is just one aspect of the whole.

If this was strictly a PvP game it would be Champions-Online Battle Royal or some such title as that. PvP is an "aspect" that exists within the game or in tandum with PvE.
As a "Champion" i'm not looking to go beat up on my fellow heroes, but to save other people, stop evil, thwart no-gooders, hoodlums, and so forth.
PvP seems to be added in to please those that like the aspect of it pure and simple.

EDIT: And it doesn't trigger a TON of anti-flight crap that flight & rocket flight do, like the AA batteries in the desert. I didn't even know those DID anything.

While I agree with most of your points none of the things you want will be changed. The developers that do play this game all use regeneration for their passive defense as well as teleport for their travel power.

Don't feign innocence and act like teleport users have it rough. And no, I don't PvP, so I have no stake in whether teleport is changed or not, I just hate seeing people leave things out.
