I'm getting a little tired of the @Cryptic threads.
So, post who you think is THE most bad-ass superhero/villain. Don't post a list of your top picks. Just post one pick of who you think is the most badass, and give 3 examples why.
Hulk
1. He's beaten the living hell out of almost every Marvel superteam, hero and villain since way back in the silver age.
2. He's able to pull off tight purple pants and make it look good.
3. World War Hulk

Hero - Gambit. - I LOVE him. :P He essentially had a willing lobotomy from Mr. Sinister just to nerf his powers because he was so powerful, possibly more powerful than Magneto, he feared he'd cause mega destruction. He was always badass in my eyes but once he'd had this reversed he just got even cooler. Of course, I'd involuntarily stopped reading comics soon after this happened so Im probably outdated on whats been going on.
Villain - Deadpool, hands down. I love his wit, his snarky sarcastic humor and his incredibly deadly skill. MANY heroes are afraid/unwilling to fight him and will often pay him large sums of money to get him to leave them alone/counter someones contract etc. Deadpool is just cool.

Paco "El Puño" Estrella
Reason? He has an awesome name. That and he most likely likes to give all the other heroes the finger. <3
Oh and he has an attack called Spinsucker. Now that's badass.
I wonder if anyone other than me actually know who he is. ._.

The thread should have been "The Best Super Hero/Villian That is NOT Overrated". This thread is going to be flooded with Deadpool and Spiderman. No offense. lol

Beyonder as both hero/villain. If you read the original Secret Wars you'd know.
1. He's Beyonder
2. He really IS Beyonder.
3. No really, Beyonder!

Hehe, I don't really care if he's "overrated". Every appearance of Deadpool in the comics was enjoyable and his own series was great fun to read. I don't have any "fanboi" alts in game but i don't blame people who do. DP is a really well done character, I've always loved the comics that feature him.

Heh, I've got a some oddballs for ya.
Hero: Nightcrawler. For me his is the epitomy of a hero. Using the combination of speed and teleportation, he's taken down many a foe many times his size, and looks damn cool doing it, all with a joke and a bow.
Bonus hero: Shadowcat. One of my all time favorite hero characters, she's the ultimate ninja who can't be hit (Yeah, in the comics she had full-on ninjitsu training... assuming it hasn't been retconned out since I stopped reading). She was also one of the most "human" characters. never going overboard on the angst, but she responded realistically to problems while others acted like characters.
Villian: Mr. Freeze. Not the movie version, but the version created for the "Batman: the Animated Series". No emotions, cold as ice... and more lives then a freaking cat. He was half gadgeteer, and half ice powers... and all bad-ass.

I don't know. I'm sorry. I am just so tired of seeing Deadpool ripoffs in game. Glad you aren't one of them. lol

I like Invincible and the kids from the Runaways.Invincible because he is really just an awesome version of superman and the Runaways because their powers are just different and seem to be more interesting.
