And if the Devs all made us one hit kills it'd certainly increase the difficulty of the game, yes? And if the Devs gave the henchmen 40k Hp it would also increase the difficulty, yes? This is your general theory of gaming. More damage/more hitpoints = more fun, so long as the player can adjust it. Perhaps if we were korean.

~ Surprise! challenges. - My suggestion covers that nicely.
Difficulty Sliders become a masturburtory technique put on display by the haves. This is my epeen, look at it grow. Players increase difficulty sliders almost universally to 1. Show off, and 2. Increase their XP. However, difficulty sliders, even if they were specifically with Nemesis missions, lairs, and instanced maps. Even if they were all the piles of fun you claim them to be... they would still ignore vast swathes of the game.

Sorry but it's exactly what you asked for.
No, it's what you wanted to think I asked for. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough, and that's my fault.

If it's not what you "wanted" then it seems that what you really want then is something to complain about simply so as to get attention.
This is a personal attack that serves no purpose other than self gratification.

While they do not have evil intentions, they often do bad things (even if they do not necessarily enjoy doing these things) to people who are, in their opinion, bad people if it benefits their goal of achieving a greater good.

The irony is that between the Dev Chat ideas and the supposedly untenable patch earlier this week that introduced SURPRISE HARD MODE, Abysmal woulda gotten everything she wanted.

Introducing a price for failure would make this game too much like, gasp, an MMO. All the kids on the forum are going "But we don't want an MMO. We want Second Life with Capes and instant full retcons."

It would be nice to see a lot of these ideas implemented for those willing to take on the challenge, however.
