I haven't been having any crashes with my ATI Radeon 4600 series but I do get some ugly graphics glitches that no matter what I set the in game settings to I can't fix.

Reload the graphics card device driver.

I've done that. I even completely uninstalled the video card and reinstalled everything, but still no luck. I wasn't having this problem prior to the last patch however. Wonder if that has something to do with it.

Are you using the most recent driver?
My friend has an ATI 4800 series on a quad-core Phenom. SAME exact problem. No matter where his settings are at he gets explosive artifacts and blown-out graphics. Then it crashes. He stopped playing because of it. I'm running a bare bones comp and it runs fine on mine.
Are the Dev's working on fixing this problem? It looks like it only affects the 4+ series of cards.
And yes I tried to get my buddy to stay and wait it out. He uninstalled the game, reinstalled it. He even reinstalled his drivers.
I'm having a blast though. Sucks to be him.

Yes. I'm updated to the most recent drivers. I even went out to the ATI website and DL'd them again just to be sure. Still the same thing.

I can confirm that two 3850's crossfired encounters no issues with the graphics performance. Boyfriends machine is running those, and everything graphically has been rather smooth. This does sound like 4+ series problem.

The OP said 4600 not 4800.
I have 4870 1GB but I haven't seen this problem.
I've increased most settings and it looks prety good whilst still being smooth.
One problem I have noticed is that soemtimes all of the colour drains from the screen - so everything is greyscale - but then gradually the colour comes back - it only lasts for about 10 seconds. Weird.

My HD3xxx crashs sometimes the screen cracks apart dunno how else to explain it the screen just gets filled with lines of colour.
My firefly has the most horrid colour on it and no matter what colour i pick it always ends up this horrid oil slick looking colour i think thats got something to do with the metal on my robot as its ok on the other chars.
Also when i stop flyingthe flames around my character dont disapear so im constanly on fire with this horrid colour lol

I said 4+ series as in the whole 4 series. Sadly I am off to play some more. Can't say the same for those who can't even get the game to play on expensive software. Suckers.
