Judging by what's on the PTR (and what feels right in my head), customizable crafting is currently bugged on live. For instance, I don't think we're supposed to be able to pick +REC only on all nine items. In your enhancement list when if says REC defense, you were only supposed to be able to use that enhancement on a primary or secondary defense. From what I'm reading that's how it now is working on the PTR.

If that's true, and that's how things are supposed to work, then it means that all the crafting/Unity/Nemesis epics are actually worthwhile since you can get high REC on something other than just defense slots. Not a single stat on the whole item, but getting +30 REC plus some other stats in a offence or utility slot is much better than not at all.

Yeah I am seeing that now and it is unfortunate. On the other hand, with mob drop rates going up, perhaps I can find a set that fills my needs from level 40 masters and supers.

Also, now that more items will be dropping, maybe we will get enough pulson particles to actually craft the Purple craft gear... heh.

Anyway, hopefully crafting is something that gets alot of attention in the future. I have a feeling this "fix" to enhanceable crafted items is going to ruin crafting for me and many others, but we will learn to live with it I guess until they throw us a bone.

At worst, the crafting purples are probably the most accessible purples in the game at this point. Maybe if I can find an Arms and a Myst craft we can do some trades and get full sets of what we want/need.
