Running an electricity toon with END/REC as my superstats. My concept allows wiggle room for either personal force field or regen as a defensive passive. My question is, which is going to be more effective in the long run?

Regen is much more useful in my experience.

I, too, am thinking of switching from PFF to Regen with the next free Retcon.
I'm and Int/End Power Armor user.
Is Regen better than PFF?
I like PFF somewhat but field surge feels useless while with Resurgence you get a free heal.

I dropped PFF + Field Surge for Invulnerability and Resurgence. HUGE improvement.

Of the passive defenses, PFF is currently the worst by a far margin. I know something always has to be the weakest on a scale, thats just the way things are, but the margin on this is too big to ignore, don't take PFF if you can avoid it.

resurgence still heals you, it just doesn't buff regen if you don't have regen. Resurg is very good even without regen.

Still... Is Regen better than PFF?
PFF feels like a band-aid... not a real defensive power.
But I suppose the grass is always greener right? ;)

Regen is great, it's almost a must have power, playing my alt now without regen is so annoying :p
The lightening reflexes is just naff compared.

For a solo toon or tankish toon regen is better. PFF seems to be tuned for accidental agro which it does handle well.
