I mean right now, trying to make a concept character is pretty useless since there are about a handful of powers that are must haves for pve and pvp, all of which are spread across different sets and dont really go well as a concept. I want to make a strictly Duel Pistols character and mistakenly took PFF as my passive defensive when I should have taken the dex based defensive in the melee combat powerset (forget name). Only that ability is completely useless as it honestly doesnt prevent much incoming damage and you end up planted face first more often than not.

So now I face a dilema, I need to raise three stats up high, DEX, EGO, END in order to be effective. I just wish wish wish I could have been DEX, EGO and not have to worry about my defensive powers sucking. Which brings me to the whole point of this thread. While you guys decide to change powers and functions of your powers and powerset, please keep the costs of retconning low. Once you have a solid hands on version of what you want your powers to be, then raise it up.

Right now having to spend close to 100 whatever the max money name is, when I get not even a fraction during my leveling of that, makes respecing completely stupid. I could waste my time and start a new character but then I would be in the same boat as my current char when you decide to drastically change the concept and functionality of your powers.

Is this "concept character" thing going to be used to complain about everything someone does not like in the game?

Seems so.

I want more missions, because My concept character does not do well with the ones now.

Crafting needs to be redone because it does not work right with a concept character.

We need more loots because my concept character believes he is very rich.

The color pallete for abilities need to be reduced because my concept character is indecisive.

The music in Club Caprice needs to change because my concept character would never dance to that music.

The UI needs to be changed because my concept character sees the world through rose-tinted glasses, and that is not possible right now.

E-mail needs to be removed in game because my concept character is a technophobe.

All mob attacks need to do no damage because my concept character can't be hurt.

Swinging travel powers need to be removed because my concept character does not like monkeys.

Experience should be removed from the game and everyone made level 40 because my concept character is a crusty and wiley vet with more experience than anyone in the world.

All prisons in the game need to be removed because my concept character does not believe in incarceration.

Demons need to be removed from the game because my concept character is a guy named Jesus with a beard and a robe.

On a side note, I did see a character named 'Bath Towel Jesus' running around in Canada, and he was indeed Jesus in a bath towel.
