Yes, there are three threads about this already. True, I could've posted in there. But I excersize my right to post and let my opinion be heard. Who knows, by increadible small chance Cryptic might even read it. Which I doubt as they are patching in the middle of their night.
Once more I wake up, get my cereal, make my coffee and install myself behind my pc after a nice week at work and click on the CO shortcut. The green light is one, I login, and once again no dice. Once again "maintenance and patch".
And that on a frikkin' SATURDAY!
You - Crytic - host a game world wide, with paying customers world wide. Show some professionalism and spread this patching/maintenance agony around. WORLD WIDE. There are other place in the world than the USA... and even people in the USA get hit on the same times again and again.
We live pretty much in a world where things go on 24/7. There's people working other hours than 9 - 5, even in your own time zone (heck, you folks are one of those). The same people get hit again and again.
I don't care about demographics, or numbers somewhere that show that 1-3AM PDT has a low game count. Numbers do not represent the frustration the same gamers have to put up again and again. I don't care about the argument that "this game is just out, it needs the patches to be fixed and better..." Honestly, I don't know why we the paying customers put up with a product that's half finished. Yes I am guilty of that as well and it's the last time I fell for that, giving Cryptic more credit than they're worth after launching othe succesful MMOGs.
There's been umpteen threads, gazillion posts about your downtimes. You've yet to respond to one of the issues raised in there. Unless my google-fu fails me. I want to know if this downtime 1-3 AM is a set time, non-negotiable, or will you start shifting it around.
And downtime in weekends... sheez!
---
TL;DN: I am annoyed with downtimes in MY gaming time... again.

Really, was anyone a part of WoW's first week of launch, go through that again and then tell me how you feel about nightly patches.

People with ATI cards which are crashing have a REAL reason to complain since the game is down ALL DAY, EVERYDAY untill its fixed.
2 hours of lost gameplay for you= me playing worlds smallest violin.
