I don't know if this is the proper forum for this subject and apologize if it is not. But I recently paid nearly $200 for a lifetime subscription. But, looking at my account, I see that my subscription will currently last until 10-10-2009. If that's the case, then what did I pay $200 for? If this needs to be straightened out, who do I talk to about it?

Is that the date you entered your retail code? The retail version comes with 30 days included, so essentially your lifetime will kick in after your 30 days free.

yep, beat me to it.

The game will use anyfree time before it kicks in the official paid subscription. When that 30 days ends the lifetime sub starts.

Thank you! I was getting very frustrated not getting replies to my tickets or emails on this question -- or, for that matter, to tickets saying I never got a key when I bought the lifetime subscription. If I had to buy the game at a retail market, all they had to do was tell me!

Okay if your Lifetime subscription is properly being applied to your account you should see something like this on your account page:

___________________________

-Champions Online Game Card ACTIVE
Play Time Until: 2009-10-10

Change this subscription

-Champions Online Lifetime Subscription ACTIVE

___________________________

The important part is that last line about Lifetime. If you're seeing that, you're fine. Your lifetime subscription will kick in after the date listed under the timecard line. (which represents the free time that came with the retail copy)

Now if you're not seeing the line about Lifetime Subcription, you have the same bug I had last week. Only a small handful of accounts got this problem. You need to call Billing Support directly to get them to fix it for you. They'll have a record of your payment on file so they should be able to help you out. The Phone people are really cool and shouldn't give you any trouble.

You can get the number for Support at the bottom of this page. You could file a support ticket if you want, but the Phone is much much faster.
