Alright, so I'm just stepping into the office this morning, so there's still a lot of information I need to find out, but here's what I know so far:

• There was a bug that slipped by us in the patch last night, preventing you from being able to use your free Retcon.
• We're currently working to get a new fix in, and as long as all goes well, we'll patch again tonight to fix the UI.

I apologize that we dropped the ball on this one. This was definitely a bug we should have caught in our tests of the patch, and it just got past us. There's nothing more to say about that...we screwed up. I'll update this post when I find out more about what's going on. Thank you all for your patience while we work to resolve this.

UPDATE: I've gotten an official workaround (that you guys have already discovered). In chat, type "/Character_UseFreeRespec" while in the Power House. Two things:

1. You need to have the Retcon window open.
2. It will immediately wipe all of your powers without confirmation.

UPDATE 2: I've updated the instructions above to explain that you need to have the Retcon window open for it to work.

I realize you have very little if anything to do with the QA department and as the messenger you're going to get completely killed but I really think you should ask someone from the QA department to come here and explain why his department has been absolutely terrible since this game went live.

I feel for you; I know what it's like to arrive at work to a firestorm caused by something that happened while you were off the night before.

I think anyone who wasn't on Early Start should shut their yaps as they're getting a free retcon when they weren't even originally supposed to, but us Early Starters have the right to be upset about the week-long delay in providing the retcon.

I myself have barely played at all since it was announced, because I've had such a tough, lag-filled time with it since the server went live that I just decided to not play until I can get rid of Superspeed, which is the root of my gameplay issues.

Anyways, hopefully it works this time... >.<
