Hey guys!
Im having some issues still with my graphics. I've updated my drivers to the latest ones and im using Windows7 64bt RC. What basically happens is sometime when I log in and start playing the game the entire scrren is Black except for some lighting effects (Like around the heli-pad in Canada and along the buildings), my character is also appears to have a coat of silver over him. You can just about make out the colours of his suit but it basically makes me look like The Silver Surfer. Whilst being cool its not exactly how I wanted my char!
Secondly, When I do get it loaded proberly I'm stil having framerate issues when i first load up just like i did during the beta. I loda up with max settings and everything is very stuttery. I reduce the graphics to minimal and apply. This obviously makes everything run nice and smooth. I then pump the settings back to max and it maintains my good framerate. Im glad i can play the game in all its glory but getting abit peeved off about having to mess with settings every time i load up the game!
Has anyone else had any of these issues? And have you managed to fix them?

I am having similar problems with the exact same card the latest drivers and on windows 7 32bit. I dont get the whole silver thing or the black screen but basically whatever settings I choose, minimum or highest my game stutters and runs terribly with bad frame rate and worse lag its prettey much unplayable.
Any help much appreciated.

There seems to a be an awful lot of these kind of problems with a multitude of graphics cards and rigs. all we can really do is hope that this is a main priorty for the programmers and they are working on it now. seems to hit ati and nvidia equally across the board

I have the exact same issue, with some reservations on how to make them happen. 1) I HAVE to be in windowed maximized mode. Fullscreen, game works fine. Don't know about windowed mode, though. Never liked playing in a window. 2) The shiny silver surfaces are the metallic surfaces. Leather and cloth bits show black. It seems to be the effect that gives the metallic surfaces their 'metal' apearance. The texture underneath the metal is obscured by the same 'all texture's black' bug that affects the rest of teh game but the 'metal alpha level' is either uneffected or reverse effected. 3) It only really starts to effect my game if I'm in the costume creator (character or nemesis) or if I log out and chose another character.
I hope that helps. I hate having to switch between Windowed Maximized and fullscreen. Another thing to think about is maybe it's Windows Aero. I notice when my game is Fullscreen, my other monitor shows my desktop going to Windows Basic. When I'm windowed maximized, it stays Aero.

I have had this issue with maximised windowed mode. I have an ATi Radeon 3870 and Catalyst 9.8 running on Windows 7 x64. Disabling Aero seems to fix it, mostly. Though I still get black textures occasionally. To disable Aero just for Champions, right-click on GameClient.exe, Properties, Compatibility and click "Disable Desktop Composition". That fixed the lighting problem for me.
