The game is not even a week old, and already it's very obvious that there is a problem with the way the treatment European players are getting from Cryptic (I know that it is even worse for Australians, but I will not speak on behalf of them, as I don't know exactly what it's like for them).
First of all, there's the whole grace period business. The grace period was made so that people who preordered and participated in the beta could get one week of headstart than everyone who bought their copy at release. What Cryptic failed to realise was that this grace period was only beneficial to the american players, as the European copies of the games will not arrive to the European customer until 5-6 days after the end of the grace period.
The second problem is GM support. All GM's in Champions Online are based on the US eastcoast, and are only present ingame during US primetime. This means that if a European player file a ticket in the European primetime, he will have to wait some 6 hours (until 02.00 CE(S)T) to get an answer on the ticket. Yesterday I had to do Dr. Destroyers lab three times, due to a bug, that a normal GM could have easily fixed.
The final problem is a lack of community representatives during the EU timezone. No topics posted by European players will ever get read by Cryptic. Half the times you contact a GM, he or she will say that you should post it on the forums. When you tell them that the topics are not read by Cryptic employees, the GM will tell you to keep bumping the thread. Which means that in order to file a bug/sugestion/complaint, a European player will basically have to get up at 2 in the night, and keep bumping the threads for a few hours, just to get heard.
Now, I would like this, and my other thread about Grace Periods to get read by Cryptic, but "unfortunately" I work for a living, and cannot ge tup tonight. Therefore, I am posting this now, in the hopes that someone else might stay up tonight and be kind enough to bump this :)

Ummm I am on the US east coast and have put in numerous GM tickets (not just bug) and have yet to get something other than a canned response a couple of hours after I have logged off in frustration. Its not just the EU players, I am beginning to wonder if there are any GM's actually in game.

If you don't like the way they handle the costumer support don't use it and belive me if most people don't like it the effects will soon start kicking in if you do this.
