I pre-ordered from GameStop and one of the bonuses was the flight 0 power.

It's fun to fly around during the tutorial but not much use beyond that I guess.

Just wondering if any of the other people who got this bonus actually use it after they get their regular travel power, I guess I could see it might be useful in conjunction with others, possibly superspeed, acrobatics, or teleport...

Oh yes. Its lots of fun for a non-flyer. Take Superleap or swinging and you can trigger the boots at the top of your jump and stop in mid air. Try it out sometime.

Obviously its especially good for Teleporters and those with the vertical capabilities of an earthworm (Looking at you, tunnelers)

I'm loving the boots. For a Level 0 freebie there's alot of clever usages you can find.

it's not really flight, more like hover. can't get out of the way or mobs or even move very fast. pretty dissappointed

It's fun to fly around the tutorial yelling, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOBS" though... :D

When I say "flying" I mean "hovering really slowly" of course. Heh heh.

Awesome power with teleport. Now I can hover mid air to take a break from porting.

I combined it with rocket jump and I enjoy it. I can jump up really high and then hover and then turn on my rocket boots when I want to come back down really fast but not take damage.

It's not as good as flight, which is sad, but it's still fun to use as is.

Alot of people don't like travel powers that don't allow you to hover above an area during AFKs etc, this items fixes that issue. It is more useful than I originally expected.
