I am not sure if I should take PFF or Regen on my END/REC electric toon.
I am reading that PFF has been hit hard by the nerf bat and barely absorbs a few hits now -- but it does apparently scale with END.
I am reading that Regen technically scales with REC but not enough to make a difference, relative to another stat like CON (which increases max HP and thus raises regen per tick).
On my Elec blasting toon, I am not sure what will help more. I have Regen on my munitions toon and it is nice for providing some in-combat time and then heal-to-full very shortly thereafter.
If I take PFF, I am concerned about how long it lasts (post nerf) and whether I will have any way to heal out of combat.
Thoughts?

So to the OP, I would say regen as even with high endurance your PFF will go down from time to time and will take longer to recharge than it would take you to kill things with regen and high recovery.

To put some perspective into things, I made a REC/CON character recently and tested how much recovery actually adds to regen. According to the info for regen on my task bar, adding 22 points to recovery only raised the minimum heath gain by ONE. This seems to be the case with most powers that scale with stats. A lot of them add a pretty pathetic amount. (I'm looking at YOU Ego Form!)
So, unless this is somehow a glitch that's going to be fixed soon, don't take recovery for the sole reason that it gives a "bonus" to regen. Luckily, recovery is still a great stat to have for almost any build though. Would've been more ****ed if It were something like presence. -_-

I think you can't really pick one of them based on current performance now, because they are all broken at this time in a lot of ways. In other words there's a good chance they might become significantly different by christmas.
PFF itself is now just a little buffer HP, and will only last just a couple of seconds when things go south. Even some henchmen can drain you completely within 10 sec. And there's the block issue - PFF takes full hit whether you block big damage or not.
Field Surge got nerfed - Other than that you can only heal your PFF by idling, which is long time.

Thanks for input so far.
What people seem to be implying is that becaue Regen ticks for a % of your health (apparently), then having higher health (through higher CON) should mean that each Regen tick is for more health.
I've seen a few people post this. Not sure if it's true. But if so, it would argue perhaps going END/CON and stacking REC as a 3rd stat with gear and talents.
This wouldn't be such a big deal if the mechanics were well known and if the passives didn't come so early -- and end up so far down the skill tree -- that respecing them is hard at high lvls.

I've seriously considered it, and still no conclusion.
