I mean, really, is there absolutely no way to transfer resources from one character to another on the same account?

And I mean directly transfer resources, not the "Stupid Human Trick" variety of using the auction house or sending items for alts to sell, I mean actually sending resources to your alts. There's no place to put money in your bank (but there is in your SG - again, not ideal, especially if you don't have an SG) and you can't turn it into an item to actually mail it to someone, so I'm at a bit of a loss.

Did you really actually go live in a game that practically BEGS you to make alts, without actually giving people a way to fund those alts?

Please tell me I just missed it. This game is amazing, but as an altoholic, this is killing me.

Lets be honest with ourselves. There really is no need for large sums of resources on a level 1-10 alt. If you made a HUGE mistake with power selection, re-rolling is easy and fast. If you made a small mistake, you will have enough to retcon one or two powers, which is half your list of powers anyways. There isn't much of a demand for transfers of resources (cash) unless you are forced to re-roll a level 20+ character. Even in that case, just wait. Cost adjustments for retcons are bound to happen eventually. How long did it take for you to get to your current level? Re-roll or wait, but the currency transfer isn't an issue.

still there is no harm in it as long as it is within the same account, i understand from account to another account as it will most likely be a anti gold seller thing

If I have to do that tutorial one more time I'm going to end up on America's Most Wanted. Not to mention other unpleasantries like tracking down a member of your supergroup to get re-invted (especially for small or start-up groups... not everyone is interested in those giant ubergroups made up of anyone who will accept the invite, you know), sending boatloads of crafting components to an alt and then sending them back to the reroll, etc, etc.

Yes, this is a issue. Every other MMO I have played has let you transfer money between characters or store it in a bank (guild wars). With respec cost still out of line I would like the ability to scavanage my Alts for money if I make a mistake on a power choice. Currently I would have to farm for a few hours and that is my only option.

Acrizer, you and your other guildes should set up a ingame channel like us in The Few have that way when a alt is made you can request a invite on the channel and viola your in guild with in seconds of making your character, and because the channel is used for that only it is quites untill some one wants an invite

City of Heroes doesn't have this feature. OH Wait! Cryptic made City of Heroes . . . I guess it's not surprising then that they did the same thing here.

Simple say your hero Joe@JoeBob wants to send 10 snickers bar to your other character Bob@JoeBob
Simply go to any SOCRATES terminal and click on mail. After that click compose mail. Now type in Bob@JoeBob and attack 10 snickers bar at the bottom and send.
Instantly you'll get a notice (if you click the envelope next to the mini-map) that you have mail. Sign off Joe and sign on Bob, and accept your 10 snickers bars. Granted to accept items you MAY have to go to a Socrates terminal.

easy way would be to do it like everquest with a small part of the bank to be account wide about 10 slots nothing massive and a place to put funds from all characters that ways its also easier than sending x ammounts to a chracter but being able to grab whats needed when its need, plus resource farmers wont beable to use it to mail people resource

As much fun as it is to attack Snickers, I prefer Milky Way myself... sorry...

My personal belief as to why they do this is that it forces you to talk to other players. I know sometimes that can be a massive pain in the tail attachment point, but in an MMO and in RL, sometimes it's actually a good idea to interact with other people. The best part is if the people you end up interacting with are more annoying then having to scrape the sticky gunk off your shoes after leaving a movie theater, you can simply ignore'em :D
