I read in another topic someone claiming that if you didn't charge force cascade, it would not eat the form.
Is that true?
Also, does the force builder have a chance each hit to proc a shield, or only opening attack?
And does anyone have a % chance to proc and approx damage absorbed (any given level is fine)?
Thanks.

well I assume this is the case then and force twinks are afraid it will get nerfed if it becomes common knowledge that you can just spam cascade when you get an energy form up.
Still would like to know how much the builder's bubble can absorb and what the % chance is, and if it's on every hit or just the first.

I can;t really tell honestly. My force character has no energy forms other than what procs off of the energy builder and that quickly falls to damage so I can't if the non charged cascade eats it or whether the damage is what ate it.

Oh it eats the form no matter what... AND it locks you out of one for another 10 seconds. Course Forms are almost useless now anyways so I suppose that's no longer quite as horrible as it once was.
For the proc rate it normally says in the advanced description of the power what it is.

I tested this at the end of open beta, so it may or may not apply to the released version.
Yes, tapping Force Cascade did not consume your energy form(s).
Experimenting with relying only on the proc from upgraded Force Bolts against Test Dummies (who don't fire back and pop the bubble), I could not reliably get more than I think two tapped Force Cascades off before the bubble expired.

It consumes the forms now even if you just tap it, I assume it was changed at the end of beta.

In my experience Force Cascade will eat the energy form regardless of Tap or Charge. Also, my Force Bolt shield procs off at any time it seems like.

yep, any force bolts can proc the shield, doesn't have to be the initial one, it rarely will be anyways.
