and I have no idea if they are working or if I need to activate them. They say "slotted passive" instant. I see the infvulnerability icon on top of my slots and see the icon apear for some seconds under my avatar pic but for defiance.. nothing.

are they working together ?

Read the description. Says you'll gain the Defiant buff when you get hit.

I red it and Iv been in many fight since and I see nothing no gain nothing.

You can't have two slotted passive powers in the same build, so you'll need to set up an alternative build to slot Defiance into. You can't have them both going at the same time.

Once they're slotted in to your active build, they'll work as described in the tooltip.

This. Passive defensive powers do not stack with each other, you can only have one active at a time. Same with all passive powers, offensive included.

I'm not surprised that you didn't understand this before you built your character. Cryptic has not done a good job making things like this very clear. Additionally, you're going to have to pay some money to respec yourself and remove one of the two passives (if you don't want to waste the power slot).

You can only have ONE slotted passive active at a time - so, you can have EITHER Invulnerability active, or Defiance. Not both!!

Check to see which one you're using - it's the tiny little square, on the top right of your power-tray.

IF you got Invulnerability first ... then that was automatically placed in your Passive slot. So when you picked Defiance ... you needed to go in and SET UP A NEW BUILD. :)

Press "B". Hopefully you hve more than one Build slot available to you. Go to the second one, click "update", make sure EVERYthing is checked, and confirm.

Then drag Invulnerability out of the Passive slot, and hit "P" ... find Defiance, and drag it INTO that Passive slot.

Now, you're set up to be able to choose, on the fly, which to use: Invulnerability b]or[/b] Defiance.

Just remember, you cannot use BOTH at the same time. Period.

No! Not for nothing!

The two passives do different things (Defiance works well with Enrage! and multiple mobs and can stack majorly, Invulnerability is just a flat damage decrease but much more reliable) so use them with different builds and roles and switch between depending on what you're doing. Use Invulnerability for "everyday" missioning, and Defiance for AoE henchman farming (for example.)

The slotted passive system is designed with the idea of having multiple slotted passives for each character. Power Armour (for example) has Invulnerability and Targetting Computer-one increases your defence, the other gives you endurance back off other PA skills, so obviously they're both useful to a PA character. I use them both (Invulnerability with Balanced and Defensive builds, TC with Balanced and Offensive builds.)

Soo, call me an idiot for asking a stupid question but I can't have Ice Form and Regen at the same time? Even though I can have one equipped as offense and the other as balance?
