Top speed reduced by 15%?
If you going to nerf things, at least let us get to our death quicker!!

Actually thats the one change I understand. There was a problem with server keeping up with frame rates on travelling at top speeds. Why they scaled down travel at lower speeds as well is the part that confuses me.

Reducing the top speed makes zones 'feel' bigger. Its a trick to make people think there is more space than there actually is.

It doesn't work for those of us who had the higher speeds. We just feel slower.

To make the value of the top speeds be as high as it was before? I.e. putting an advantage point in there would make more sense if it's a 30% jump rather than a 15% one so they lowered both to make this jump stay the same.

Just a speculative guess.

The code might use one equation for all flight speeds and thus when one part is scaled back, the entirety is.

With that said.. i don't know, so please look for an answer from a dev to confirm.

It's easy to understand. They say they had a server-side issue with travels being too fast.

To re-balance the travel powers, they lowered them all, so the fastest travel powers are still the fastest.
