In the future, I would love for housing to be added ^^.

I agree, i would love to see an appartment type thing, at least to begin with. Some kind of storage in said houseing would be nice to have also.

I believe Lairs are planned for the future sometime. Don't know when, and don't know if they will be perosnal, supergroup or both. But yes, a place to display all those trophies we are earning would be nice. I would suggest Cryptic look at Wizard101's housing system and possibly look to improve on that.

yes, i believe every good MMO needs a place for your toon to go and rest without having to worry about getting attacked and without having to see a ton of other players. a trophy cabnet would be awesome as well. All superhero's need a trophy spot for their most dangerous enemies that they defeated.

I've heard them say they're planning SG bases... but I absolutely agree with the need to have personal player housing too. A big part of (almost) any superhero is what they do when they're not being super, and being able to decorate a home for our heroes would go a long way toward helping us establish that aspect of the character in-game.
