This is probably really simple, but I think it's a nice idea to further improve character appearance.

Quite simply, most people like their gear to show to some extent. 95% of that doesn't matter here since we can customize everything about our characters from Chin width (?) to shoe size. However, if I were to make a pirate and I want his sword out while just standing around, that's not possible. Perhaps I want my commando to have his AR power replacer on display while he's idle or even for my Power Armor character to have that minigun always displaying, instead of just popping up when he uses the attack.

What I'm proposing, simply, is the option to be available in our options menu, probably under the UI options, to display weapon/item based powers all the time. A lot of the melee weapon attack are really quick and you don't get to fill admire that delicious looking broad sword.

The only complication I can see is power overlapping, someone having both Two Gun Mojo and Dual Blade and displaying them both. The easiest resolution I can see is limiting the effect to displaying one weapon/item based power at a time.

Here's an idea of what I mean:

The dropdown allows you to choose which power you want actively displayed. Only valid powers would be on that list; you wouldn't find Personal Force Field on there. But you would find items such as Single Blade, Dual Blade, Power Armor, Munitions - Two Guns or Munitions - Ar / Minigun / etc.

I think it would add even more character to our already awesome heroes. It doesn't sound too difficult, either.

Same Idea I suggested while ago that MUST be in the game imo. Would be really cool to be able to run around with a bolt of lightning wrapped around thier hand or a mini gun held up.

i have to agree with this idea, its part of the game and should be able to be seen by many, so they can admire your weapons.

I think showing a character's weapon is an awesome idea, but I think you could show multiple weapons in a different way. I like the idea of having your weapon out, but instead of just limiting the options by only allowing one weapon to show, I think you could simply show the weapons holstered on the body. Munitions/Dual Blades - Two pistols on the hip and the blades crossed on the back. or Sniper Rifle on the back and blades on the hips (might not work as well this way though)
