Sure would be nice to get a free respec since no one could afford to respec talents. After seeing how badly some of the skills I had planned on using were nerfed I would have respeced out of them before I could not anymore. Since I am locked out of the skills and abilities I wanted to respec now, and I could not afford to respec when they were availible to spec out of it is reasonable.

I very much agree with this. I wanted to respec outta Beat Down on my Might toon, but I couldn't because the cost was too prohibitive. The cost kept increasing with my level as well so I had no chance of actually making enough money to respec it later.

Please give us a full free respec devs.

I had exactly the same problem, not fussed about a free respec but would be nice if they fixed it some time soon.

The problem I had is that i had taken a power at level 8, tested it on the dummies, all well and good. Went out into the real world and found the KB really annoying.....no probelm ill go respec i thought.

Unfortunately i couldn't afford to. By the time i had enough money i was level 9 and the price went up again. I then couldn't select a a new talent/power/etc else this would make it even more expensive. I sold everything i had, even item, ever drop on the way to 10 but still didnt have enough before level 10, when the price went up again....again i couldn't train up else i would make it more expensive....this carried on until level 15 when i thought **** it and selected all the train ups i had missed for the last 7 levels......

I'd certainly appreciate it, but honestly, as long as something will become available at some point I'm not extremely concerned about having it now. Then again, it appeared they were able to do this late in beta, so if it's not difficult it would help, since I wanted to remove a starting Power but couldn't afford to til it was too late.

Was totally unable to pay for a respec at level 5 when I discovered my travel power, outside the power house, was just horrible and when I went back at level 6, with enough money, I discovered that the prices were even higher then because of a level. At 1 ressource per kill, I would have to kill like 500 guys just to get a respec or 1 power.

I tried to catch up on that, taking no power whatsoever till level 14 but just can't pay for it so now I'm stuck with a travel power that is insanely annoying :/

PS: Allow people with swinging to go "straight up" the cable! Going up a little cliff is just madness :)

I imagine we will all get one as the powerhouse hasn't been the only problem. Sorcery was not letting people buy their tier 2 powers until they had enough for tier 3. I'm guessing whenever they fix that they will hand out a free-spec before game goes live for everyone on the first,

Not only was the money situation out of whack, when I went to respec out of my shield and pick up something else, I could only go back 7 skills the first time, then 5 the second time, and then it only showed 3 the third time I opened the respec screen. So I couldn't even get back down to my shield to respec out of it as it was 8th on the list.

Every character in the game should be granted a free respec that they can either use immediately, or save for later as a result of this.

People ended up either blowing huge money to fix things, or had to take powers they are now stuck with due to leveling beyond the ability to respec them.
