Ok so i've not used the auction house before and only swapped useful items between friends and family in game. But i've been thinking about buying the warlord helmet and also of selling the small amount of questionite on my low level characters to help buy more on my main or help get the warlord helmet. Taking a glance at the auction house last night i found the helmet costed in resources way more than i can afford. Is there a way to get resources directly with cryptic points? And how does the games economy and trading systems work?

Sadly not.
I guess the Easiest (lol) way is to trade Q for CP, buy a desirable tradable item on the C-Store then sell that on the AH to get G.
Since the become devices aren't that powerful comparitively these days I don't even know what's desirable now.

I'd grind Grab alerts like no tomorrow, it'll probably be quicker. Or grind warlord and hope the random drop generator likes you.

Still to get everythign but the bracers, I can forgo the foot module though.

RDG doesn't like me. Even with after about 20 runs..yea a lot....not counting the defeats....Since i can't make money....So at night, i put on my tightest tights and go walk the streets on MC....and wait when the pieces hit the Drifter Store for Drifter Salvage...

Well today after a monumental effort from myself and a very cool hero by the name of Peace which involved using 2 ressurection items (yes it really went that long, my condolences to the poor folk suffering that wait behind the forcefield) I got the helmet drop. Still i should get to know how the buying and selling works overall. It surprises me that the different game currencies don't get exchanged. For that matter it surprises me that there's no way to un-bind an item in order to sell it second-hand.

My only complaint is that I can't use the shortcut because the least expensive Warlord costume drop was over 950G in the AH last I checked - and as a Silver, I can only collect up to 250G... <shrug>

Guess I'll just have to continue tolerating that Alert in hopes of getting the drops - there are a couple of pieces I think would look cool on some of my characters (for instance, those Bracers would be wonderful for Backfire, because wrist-mounted flamethrowers fit his concept perfectly).
