Just this, a techy looking grenade. Particle damage would be nice. Make it stick, make it not. Maybe give it that plasma burn advantage.

Since we're on the subject, I'd like to be able to get a weapon unlock for the Implosion Engine, to make it look mystical if I wanted. Since now everyone can grab that power, but only a few chars could make it look right. Maybe a wacky ball of force for force guys who can actually buff ranged crushing damage? Or a cyclone skin for wind users?

If we still had Prower Replacers, this wouldn't be much of a problem... :(

except, functionally, Power Replacers Sucked. puny extra damage, low chance of extra effect, significant hit to stats, especially if the PR you like is obtained at low level.

Better solution: expand the energy rifle powers in Gadgeteering into a full Tech-Weapons set. including a Plasma grenade w/ Particle Burn.

Yeah, Power Replacers weren't really useful indeed. But still, they could have been improved instead of removed.

Not sure if an Energy Weapons set would be a "better" solution, but I support it. Espscially if it includes an entire sub-framework of Laser Sword powers. :D
