# 1 worth returning?

HI I haven't played for a while I have two free form toons - one I made to play like a Force(tank/DPS) user prior to SWTOR (GODS what crap THAT turned out to be-and I'm a HUGE SW fan boy) and a Fire/ICE free form.(DPS/Heal)

I like PVE in most MMOS moreso than PvP; outside of **** I haven't found a good PVP mmo and I never liked PVE MMo's that added PVP later on, it turned game play around *cough*COH and CO*cough*

I haven't logged in for over 200 days.. what has changed?

should I just play a bit of Silver new toons prior to paying for gold?

are groups tough to find?

thanks!

Maybe start as silver to get back progressively ingame and see the changes?
The changes are Crypticâ„¢ : it's nice but full of bugs/glitchs, as usual.

I didn't play for a long while either, but I returned and I didn't regret it.

Leveling is more fluid, Alerts filled a hole and they are fun, Hideouts seem awesome (I don't have one yet), and the Questionite system always gives you something to farm/collect/do and makes alting more meaningful. It's much closer to a real game now.

One thing about Hideouts that's pretty much undocumented, as far as I know:

If you have a flying power, the Penthouse offers a quick way back to Mill City from anywhere. Just go to your Penthouse Hideout, go out on the balcony (off the bedroom, on the upper floor), and fly off. Eventually, you'll get a popup asking if you want to return to Millennium City; select Yes and you'll come in next to the Superjet.

If you're really quick, that can work with Swinging as well. Not so much with the other travel powers, sadly - you'll fall to the sidewalk, then appear back in the elevator of your Penthouse.

If your subscription has expired since the last time you played, I highly recommend coming back as a Silver player, just to see if it's worth it TO YOU to come back, (after all, YOU are the only person who should care as to whether it's worth resubbing or not).

Also, while the Adventure Packs are all free now, I still suggest using the below Alienware promotion to get the Devastator AT and Viking costume set for free:

It really depends on why you left. If you were bored with the lack of content for example, that hasn't changed.

Not true, the content has changed dramatically since SWtOR came out. Especially for the lower levels.

Though I'd argue not for the better, at starting level.

Modified is not new content. Replacing missions with modified isn't new content. A lot of the new changes you're thinking of are minor and more aesthetic than groundbreaking. The only truly new content for me since I started has been whiteout. The lack of no new end game content is what tends to hurt, you can only do TT a few hundred times before you want something fresh.

Some things have changed but they aren't for better and worse dealbreakers. I probably won't be playing anytime soon thoi now that Diablo 3 has finally arrived. I had my fun but freeform is still way overpowered and i'm not a big fan of paying to be powerful. Still, freeform is fun and i recommend going gold at least once to see all the sexy stuff you get.
