This needs to be addressed now. I've submitted a number of tickets and requests for GM help, and none of them have been addressed at all.

The mission Lemurian Antiquities is broken. I have tried this mission a number of times, both alone and with others, and it always has the same problem. I have tried doing the things on the checklist in order, out of order, and every other way.

When I fight my Nemesis, he teleports out and then never comes back. It doesn't matter if I wait around, it doesn't matter if I leave and come back in, it doesn't matter if I go out and return after 15 minutes, when the instance has reset, because if I start it over again, he will do exactly the same thing again.

This makes it completely impossible for me to do my Nemesis chain, so that entire mission sequence is inaccessible and useless. This has been a problem for a couple of weeks now and it needs very urgently to be addressed.

Try changing the power set on the Nemesis. I think Darkness based nemeses are currently prone to randomly vanishing.

I appreciate the advice, but I don't want to have to change the power set of my Nemesis -- nor should I have to -- in order to even complete the first mission against him. This is a serious bug and needs to be sorted, and furthermore should be sorted as soon as possible. The Nemesis is a major aspect of the game and shouldn't be this buggy.

It's not the mission it's the powerset. I've done this mission on multiple characters this weekend. Darkness (and IIRC possibly dual blades?) currently bug out like this. They are doing this vanishing act on many different missions.

You're absolutely right, but sadly, until such time comes that Cryptic fixes the Nemesis...
Well, anyway, now you have a workaround, whether you choose to use it or not... ^_^

Ps: don't remember seeing a post where the Devs acknowledge those nemmy issues, so might take a while if you decide to wait... Good luck anyway.

How long is the bug around that you can't load a costume with unlocks on your very first Nemesis at creation ?
Or that some Minion / Powerset combinations don't count for Perks ?

So yeah .. i wouldn't hope for a fix soon .. and all you can really do is use another powerset and write a
bug-report each month, like i do with the not working "my characters page"

Plenty of us agree - but we also are familiar with Cryptic enough to know that you're better off "fixing" it yourself.

My nem was disappearing until I swapped her out of dual blades. By the time a GM got to me I had not only fixed it myself, but was reminded it was beyond their ability to rectify and to submit a bug report.

So unless you want to be at the mercy of the bug fix, you're better off doing it yourself. Just think of how long it was before Destroyer's factory was stable enough to run consistently....

Just had this happen twice to a new nemesis on one of my characters too. This particular Nemesis was Dual Blades, so I'll have to respec him to something else.

It's sad that it is faster to 'fix' (and I use the term loosely, as this isn't a fix) rather than have Cryptic address it.


EDIT: Re-specced Nemesis to Martial arts, worked successfully. Hu Flung-dung is now unleashed upon an unsuspecting world!

Yup my pirate Nemesis Devil-Ray had the Dual Blade powerset , and I can confirm my Lemurian Antiquities mission was borked too.
