Many of the "rage" types are over the top. But this situation was well deserved.
Pretty much everyone who was upset about this agrees.

I'm sorry if the reasons for having a patch like this skip the PTS aren't as self-evident as your facepalm might suggest. Maybe you just didn't know the story behind this patch and perhaps this will clarify.

That video shows the bug that this patch was intended to fix. I believe something that serious deserved some QA time on the PTS. I would like to hear your reasons on why you don't think its a reasonable request.

...you're kidding, right? What is the point of that? It's not like PA powers are so awesome that manual orientation is any sort of tradeoff - if anything, the most charitable appraisal of PA is 'slow but steady'. And our characters aren't giant vehicles with limited turn rates...

This has all been rather amusing, it is like every single FoTM 1-shot force cascader got up and just flipped their desks over in a fit of rage, when they discovered they could no longer maintain a full stack of enrage to 1-shot someone for an entire day. oh the humanity!

In all seriousness though, sure it could have been put through the PTS, but this was a very small, and rather insignificant patch that it really didn't seem worth it. The sheer amount of rage just seems so uncalled for. I mean really, it was only a single day.

It amazes me that more people don't read Cap-Fab's sig.

I STILL don't understand how the exploit worked or what you had to do to get it working despite the videos shown and the indirect non-explanations people answer with.

You couldn't "get it to work".. it was a random bug the only a hand full of people ended up with and it was self correcting. If you died, you lost the bug and if you kept using it, eventually the rest of your abilities would become problematic (i.e. you couldn't heal, your passive would be off, Etc.).
