Is there a guide on how to change device coloring?
Or can anyone fill me in, please?

Do you mean costume pieces or actual power effects?
Costume pieces = use the gun icon in the tailor
Power effects = Press P and click on the little coloured squares to get a colour picker.
Lastly if you mean devices like the Destroid Surge Projector or Lasso, AFAIK they're fixed / non-editable.

Thanks for the reply.
I mean the devices, like Nimbus of Force, Dark Aura etc. I swear I have seen different colors of these.

I generally use /powerhue * <hue value> to color my device effects. Hue value goes from 0 to 359 (hue wheel). Note that using this command will color ALL powers/devices (due to the[*] being used), though there may be a number that points to a specific device slot.
Hope that helps.
Note: the command also colors effects coming from equipment, such as nemesis heirloom gear eye effects.

Hmm, perhaps they used the powerhue console command:
/powerhue <PowerID> <Hue>: Sets the hue of the Power's FX. PowerID of 0 applies to all Powers, Hue of 0 reverts to default.
I use this myself but only to get a consistent colour scheme for some of my guys. You would have to fiddle around with the first value to find the ID of the power device (if it's even possible).

Good luck

Dark Aura's color could be changed by using the color all option on the powers window. I would assume that's how it could be done for any device that could have its color changed.

/powerhue 0 colorvalue
"colorvalue" from above is a number from 1 to 360, and if you input 0 it will reset all powers to their defaults.
Here is a link to find what each value represents: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hue

Ok I found the "all powers" grey box on a grey background. I kind of feel like a moron for not seeing this before and kind of don't feel like a moron at all:p:o
