My favorite part so far has been the Recognition system. It's kind of cool that every so often, the thing dropped by random mobs accumulates to the point I can buy a whole new costume piece. I got the Maniacs Skull Boots the other day, and I've been contemplating changing out Risen's beast legs and monster-claw feet for regular legs sporting those boots...

The game is a little broken, but it's getting better, and I'm more then happy to enjoy the ride as we get to whatever crazy place it is we're going. Sounds like a blast. Even if I can't play, the game still manages to be interesting just to see all the things done via forum-proxy. |

I'd like to chime in and say thanks too.
The Alerts and other new things added recently have been loads of fun!
(Even got me to re-sub and spend almost 1000 cp so far...:o)

Yup, thanks Cryptic. Re-subbed recently and it's well worth it, there's nothing else on the MMO market quite like the character creator and Freeform builds in CO, and the combat is always tons of fun. The game has its niggles, but it scratches an itch that you never knew you had until you've played it :)
And now, with the Alerts, I even have a little bit of the old CoX feel of continual, trance-inducing PUG-ing. Nice!

My favorite MMO of all time. CHAMPIONS ONLINE!
I often play it while eating cereal or oatmeal before going off to do what I need to for the day, mainly collecting plastic bottles and tin cans. You'd be surprise how much you can get if you're persistant enough. I make around $17 ~ $30 a day. I'd subscribe back to gold member...but sometimes I'm unable to afford anything after money goes to rent and groceries, don't have to pay for the bills as I rent from my grandmother and help her at her bakery when I can.

Came back after a few months, and was pleasantly surprised... Maybe I'll be around for a bit checking out the new shiny bits.

Thanks to whoever worked on the game prior to launch, since 95% of what makes this my favorite game was made back then.
