Someone help me plz. This is what happens:

First I start up the game and it goes to the CRYPTIC loading screen. Then it loads 2/3 of the way, close to the half of the screen. After that the game suddenly crashes.

Things I have tried:

Uninstall the game
Reinstall it
Use the Cryptic Error Application
Used the patch or fixing application and verified the files

Also, I have noticed that when the game is patching it doesn't go all the way, it skips out some and finish the patching.

HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP!!!!!!!!

Do you have Intel Integrated Graphics, or an actual video card? The most recent patches broke compatibility with Intel IGPs.

I am having simialr problms agame wont finish uploaeding and then crashes, why isn't cryptic tech doing anything to solve the problem?

All you guys are saying is go buy a new card... why cant you guys just do an update and try and reverse this problem YOU guys created..... this is the reason why i stop pay for game... if i was a paying customer i would MAD UP this forum.

Cryptic disabled Intel card users. I made a similar thread. Once again, GG Cryptic.

Here's the truth of it: Intel graphics are terrible. Horrible. An atrocity among graphics. Intel can't make decent graphics processors for anything resembling gaming, not to save their lives. It's a wonder (and shameful, in my opinion) that Cryptic even lists them on the minimum system requirements, or that they worked ever, at all.

At some point, they might fix compatibility with Intel graphics. For the sake of everyone that's been cut off from the game because of it, I hope they do fix it. A lot of people have it because they have no other option. In the meantime, all you can do is wait or upgrade (which would benefit your other games, as well).

What if my cvid card is an Nvidia graphics card?

Of course, asking people to get a new graphics card is a wonderful suggestion for people like me, who are using laptops that are actually completely unable to change graphics cards in any way shape or form

Which means, annoyingly, we're gonna have to wait for a new patch to come along fixing this problem

I just downloaded this game and it seems I am having the same problem. I also have a laptop with Intel but DCUO seems to have been working amazingly for the year I've had that game. Not sure why this one won't work. I don't think Intel is a horrible graphic card as it seems to work fine with the other games I've played. Even Skyrim works great with my graphics card.

Yeah, basically Cryptic support wont ever admit to their "patch" actually screwing up the game for literally thousands and thousands of people who play with intel graphics, i'm one of them. I would like to point out at this time, that STO works fine for me, so all the trolls can stop saying "its the graphics card" cos its just not. i play other games online which are far more demanding for my laptop (which is only three months old), and have no issues.

Fact: Cryptic, you screwed up, and to show your ineptitude online, for all to see, here is cryptics SECOND response to me after i queried the issue with them again:

Recently you requested personal assistance from our on-line support center. Below is a summary of your request and our response.

We will assume your issue has been resolved if we do not hear from you within 168 hours.

If you could please send us DxDiag and HijackThis logs, that will help us to diagnose the problem. It'll be helpful to us if you tell us some of your computer's information, and PLEASE include any screenshots of any bugs or errors that you get.

To create a dxdiag log, go to Start, click on Run (or Search if using Windows 7 or Vista), then type in dxdiag and press Enter on your keyboard.

Click on Save All Information, then attach the text file to this ticket (If on a 64bit system, look for and click on the Save 64bit Dxdiag button beside the Save All Information button).
