As I have seen there seems to be a lot of problems with champs at the moment e.g. the password thing and all that but i have a different problem, everytime I change instance in game it seems to just time out from the game then when I log back in it takes about 5 mins just to get to the character screen and then after that it sometimes times out yet again before ive even got back in game, after all this I normally just give up and try and open the launcher again but after ive closed it the first time it cant come back up.

oh and the only way I can launch the game again is to restart my computer.

Dont know about the timing out stuff, but i do know that you dont have to restart your computer to be able to launch again. Eventhough you cant see it, the client is still running.
You have to ctrl alt delete it and close the program that way, then you can launch again. Had it several times aswell on crashes.

Been having similar issues but Champions had crashed so wasn't in programs.

I either had to reboot the whole PC or go to processes and find gameclient.exe and end processes on that.

This crash happens EVERY TIME during any Psimon alert stating an error with his chestpiece. (force verify is not fixing this)

This has also happen randomly travelling from one map area to another (like entering burnside in the desert)

In the 2 hours I was on last night I must have had 8 or so crashes, as much as I'm enjoying CO now it's unplayable at the moment.

It has stopped for now but im still wondering what caused it in the first place.

(EDIT) I take that back, seems this new patch has brought the problem back.....
(EDIT) So im guessing that champs online for me is just running around mil city now since i cant go to any other instance without "timing out" every 5 seconds...thanks once again for that :I

ok now, this is getting stupid. I am STILL having the timing out problem everytime i change instances and have had this problem since (as you can see by the date i first posted this on the forum). PLEASE do something about the timing out and constant crashes because if not...im just gonna quit because i just cant take this as it is the most annoying thing ive ever had to go through with this game. logging in, timing out on the first loading screen, logging in and timing out another 5 times before i finally get in the game, time out as soon as i change instance, go through all the timing out again for another hour or so, finally stops for the day and i can get back to actually doing something....EVERY SINGLE DAMN DAY!

getting a bit sick of these patches messing the game up even more, i didnt have this problem until the patch where they were supposed to "fix the random crashing"....seems like that patch caused me to randomly crash....thanks for that.

(EDIT) To add to this, it happens every day when it gets to around 7pm UK time and it seems like the launcher doesnt even work now when this happens, i just get the "unable to authenticate" message and then i try again a few times and i get back onto the log in screen (then spend about 30mins having the time of my life logging in and timing out). i may come across a bit angry (mainly because i am) but if this helps at all it seems to be something with the login server or something like that. I have re installed the game and everything like that too.

Did you file a ticket through support?

If only i could get on the game to ever do that. But first im gonna wait until the next patch to see what happens because it seems whenever we have a patch, this problem changes and sometimes goes, sometimes gets worse so ill wait and see.

(EDIT) I now get the message "Unable to connect to account sever (3)" in the launcher loading bar.
