1) this didin't happen before the patch.

2) this DID happen on PTS and I spoke about it then.

In Video Settings if I turn on this feature (be it 8x or 2x) the spashes of water, all pyres, all dust, all darkness effects get pixelated and are can be seen through walls and floors.

This bug arrived at the same time as the "Seeing lights and stars through the map" bug. I'd assume it has to do with the same environmental art.

Not top priority, but it sure makes half the game ugly on the highest quality graphics. I'd post deets on my system but again, it didn't exist before the patch therefore I think it's somewhere in the patched files.

Sure this isn't the same issue as 'latest set of drivers for ATI video cards are utterly incompatible with CO and Antialiasing'?

Hmm I doubt it as i never update my drivers (it's Bootcamp).

Is there a link to this?

Pixelated fire sounds like one of the old bugs...I recall it had something to do with...post processingin and bloom, along with AA, was it? Been a long time since I've heard about that graphics bug.

I never had the issue before now.. can you remember when this bug was fixed the first time. Searching forums but nothing to be found.

It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't also seeable through walls and other solids. but now I can see if someone uses Pyre on MegaDestroid from like 5 blocks away.. and its SO ugly pixelated.
